Bonjour Mary and thank you for this video as I too enjoyed this tv series. You have a delightful smile that makes me smile too! I decided to subscribe to your channel. David from France.
This was great. I have Room 217 booked this summer. We (family) will be in Denver and Estes Park for over a week. I am a confirmed ghost story and horror film addict. And I learned a lot from your video. Didn't know so much was filmed in the Denver area. I like the mini series a lot. It has a certain charm to it. Might be able to check some of those places out if we have time while in Denver. Would have liked to see Gary Sinise as Jack. Did you film at the Stanley in the early morning? Didn't seem too busy. I'm going to try and get some good footage for a video. Glad you edited in the same order as the movie. Made it easy to follow.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it! Yes, I stayed overnight (but NOT in room #217!) so I filmed as much as I could either very late after everyone had gone to bed (around midnight) and was up at the crack of dawn filming again before everyone was up and around. Because yes, the Stanley Hotel is very busy during the day and even up until 10 pm when the last tour starts. People come from all around just to walk around and take the tours, even if they are not staying there. I have another video on my channel where I take you on a tour of the hotel itself and share some of it's stories, and in that one I was allowed inside room #217 to take a peek so you might enjoy that one as well! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B1G6i-0BIMQ.html I hope you have a wonderful trip!
