I listen to the XFM radio shows almost daily before going to sleep, it's become somewhat like a hobby but one that gives me immense joy and laughter. It is a shame that the 3 kingpins of podcasting Ricky, Steve & Karl don't do it anymore. Their first 2 seasons of the XFM show is just comedy and radio GOLD. Glad to see Steve is looking healthy and doing his own thing these days, top man 👍
Such a funny, witty bloke. I love the stuff he writes. Seeing verbatim quotes from a 20 year old tinpot radio show he did on every video featuring him is funny.
Same here, probably due to how xfm used to be done as they all were pretty genuine and laid back allowing their true personalities to shine hence the feeling of familiarity
I noticed the 'Hello Ladies' poster in the background. I loved that show. Stephen's sense of what constitutes humour, is so good and varied. All my life I have been able to write stuff in a way that makes people laugh. But I will do that once or twice a year. I can't imagine the stress involved in writing comedy successfully, week after week. I so appreciate his talent.
@@ChorltonOutlaw absolutely, Ricky admitted they hadn't fallen out recently on one of his live streams. He said he doesn't usually answer the question to wind up the people up who keep asking, which was followed by a classic Gervais cackle 😂
@@bentitchener5965They don't speak anymore. Ricky doesn't speak to Karl either. I think they've just got some sort of arrangement to keep it civil in public but they always come out with "differing schedules" BS excuse. Neither of them would answer a question on when they last spoke or met because it's probably going on a decade now. Steven is still on good terms with Karl though.
I do think it's sweet he has a framed picture of him and Ricky on the wall. Many saucer drinkers have theorized they fell out but I like to think there's still a lot of affection there.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼He is brilliant, and Bristolian( like me ) The 3 toilet problem was my prob when I moved. I still need to buy a toilet brush for my Third bathroom 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🦘🌻🦘
How are a low subscriber channels managing to regularly get celebrities on? I've noticed a couple of them recently and none of those channels seem to be much more than a year or two old.
You can buy DVD players, you can get good ones for not much money.I hope they're always be a place for dvds as there are rare films etc that you might not be able to see otherwise on streaming platforms
You can also play any DVD on a CD/R drive on a pc, many still have them installed as standard, and I think you can even buy external ones. Of course it is also still possible to extract any data from a DVD disk with certain softwares
@@James-ju4gj I have an external one because the last couple of computers I've owned ridiculously enough don't have CD drives built in. TBF I don't use them very much, sometimes play DVDs (rarely) and grab the info from CDs (also rarely but I have a couple of huge Bach box sets for instance).
Hate Karaoke so much. Hahaha. I'm going to a festival in August and there is Barrioke hosted by Shaun Williamson. Is Stephen Merchant still his agent? Lmao
Why hasnt Steven got a poster of him from the show where he played a homosexual serial killer murdering all those little gay fellas? He was brilliant in that.
