Days of our Lives stars Stephen Nichols (Steve "Patch" Johnson) and his on-screen son, Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton) chat with Michael Fairman for the Michael Fairman Channel as the long-running NBC daytime drama marks their 14,000 episode milestone and head in to the holidays in the town of Salem.
Stephen reveals his surprise at still being with the iconic show decades later; which just celebrated its 55th anniversary last month. while Lucas talks about how his first run on the show just came to an abrupt end, but now how he is deep in story involving Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and the brother, he is yet-to-know he has, Charlie (Mike Manning).
Both actors discuss working alongside again with Tamara Braun (Ava) and James Lastovic (Joey) and being part of a fan favorite soap family with Mary Beth Evans (Kayla).

Love you guys, Stephen absolutely have had a crush on you for well since the time you started days in the 80s, love your voice, for I’m not able to see because I’m blind, but you have a sexy voice, and I’ve always thought you were wonderful, a fan, 65, but still a fan, God bless you and your family, and I love Mary Beth as well, I’ve been watching days of our life since I was 10 years old right before my 11th birthday in 1965 when I came home at Thanksgiving time, watching with my mom, and my grandmother Who is no longer with us, they’re watching days I’ve been having, anyway, thanking you for all that you do, like I said your voice is incredible, the only thing that would make it better is if the video or the show was on simulcast, you know, description for the blind, sometimes so many things happen and there’s so much action that I lose out I don’t watch it every single day, but mostly, like I said I’ve been a watcher for 55/65 years now, and it be nice if there was description added to the video, can you do anything about it to make that happen, love you

WAIT!!! WAS a YOUNG actor??? Patch YOU still are YOUNG!!!!!! JUST like BO is still YOUNG!!!! COME ONE you guys----LOL YOU are just fun to watch at any age!!!!! AGE is just a number--right???? I am only 70--going to be 71 Valentine's DAY SO I will keep watching as LONG as I can understand what is going on---LOL LOVE my Day's since I was 17!!!!!!! What about Rafe!! I know he's getting older, but C'mon! He is the most handsome and sexiest man on the show!!! Do you remember him when he first started DAYS? 11 years ago! How about when he was on the soap, Passions?! That was on in the beginning of this century...
