Part of “Scent of a Woman” was filmed at my high school and Chris O’Donnell was very nice. I helped the crew with a prank during one of his interviews and he was so gracious. This interview shows that he is still that down-to-Earth person. 🙂
I remember the days when movie actors would never act on a television series. It was big screen, small screen and never the twain shall meet. I am glad those days are over.
I remember when NCIS got started starring Chris and LL, I thought why are these brilliant performers stooping to television? Enter: the Golden Age of TV.
I love this guy. And of coyrse without saying LL Cool J is tops, nobody better. My favorite action show and the BEST of the NCIS group. It took a while but it's also great NCIS New Orleans. The actors are truly what make these shows so watchable and interesting. Plus the cities their in is magical.
Thanks for the "Men Don't Leave" shoutout! It's a brilliant family drama that made me cry buckets, and still does. Chris was strong in his acting debut, surrounded by Jessica Lange, Kathy Bate and Joan Cusack. Terrific movie!
Perhaps the network should buy a map for Stephen. Several generations of my family have worked as longshoremen at the port of Los Angeles, San Pedro. The Naval Air Station on Terminal Island (now closed) operated from the late 1920s to the 1990s. So, yeah, Los Angeles-or at least its port at San Pedro-has long been a Navy town.
I smile in spirit when I see NCIS anything. Congratulations on 300. I pulled out our Nola 2018 Tricentennial coozie and used it by happenedstance the other day. I wish you many more.
This happened to me when I went to see it live last year. One guest cancelled so the night that aired they had filled it with him dressed differently with a stand up comedy to fill the slot
That's what happens when you go past 40. I also looked like a young boy in my 20s ... now in my 40s actually I still look like a young boy ... just fatter.
O'Donnell looks so much better with a little more hair. I know it might not be in keeping with the character of Callan but I wish they'd let him grow it out on the show.
Wow, you all are rude. I’m sure all of you do and will look simply gorgeous and youthful in your 50s. And no, I’m not a COD super fan, just in case I get accused of being such.
Thank goodness Chris survived his Batman & Robin disaster! Easy to toss actors aside, but they are so often just mouthpieces for bad writing, costuming, directing - or at times a production that simply does not click.
I don't know; I thought Batman Forever was alright. And that was the only Batman film in which he appeared; the next Batman film after that was Batman Begins.
Amazing seeing Chris w/o make-up (as in NCIS): I always thought he must be 10 years younger than I. But on this show I thought: wow, this man looks very old all of a sudden. And indeed, looking him up on IMDB, I figured he's older than me - lucky me :'D
Wild to grow up with and see these 90s heart throb guys now, all with floppy necks well beyond their primes now still trying to work and stay relevant.
OK, cool about NCI Whatever. But...Scent of a Woman! I was a newlywed when it hit theaters. Bad timing. It gave me a 10 year chronic case of buyer's remorse. Poor Terri Lynne. So beautiful and perfect. She didn't deserve that. Looking back, she became the standard, the 1st high, the unrepeatable experience I chased after my seed donor duties were performed and her mission in life changed from lover to mother of 4 worthy children. I became the 5th adult child she lost interest in. Alas, I sigh. She grew up. I never did.
