Soo, I don’t know why I’m putting this onto the internet but in all my 19 years of life I very rarely ever had that feeling of wanting to find myself a “Georgia” as it wasn’t a priority, but my life has very recently changed dramatically because of a singular person. Someone I never thought could ever exist and make me feel this type of way (sorry if that sounds cheesy). We met roughly 4 months ago in our College Psychology class and with no exaggeration, have been talking to and hanging out with each other every single day (the moment I’m writing this, we just finished watching Avatar 2 together about an hour ago) and sometimes we talk until 5 a.m. losing sleep 😅. Anyways I seriously started developing feelings for this person about 2 weeks after we started talking and as I’m a very introverted person for the last 3 months I haven’t gotten the opportunity to tell her how I feel even though she’s made it VERY obvious to me that the feelings are mutual. I don’t know what’s wrong with me right now but I’m just feeling very paranoid like this is something I shouldn’t be doing but I seriously can’t help but to like everything about her. I’m 100% planning on telling her how I feel before the new year begins or maybe even on New Year’s Day but I’m honestly just very scared since I’ve never been in a relationship before. 😅 Again I don’t know why I’m dumping on the internet for a bunch of strangers to see but I will make the remainder of 2022 my moment of gaining enough confidence to tell my “Georgia” how I feel. Thank you for your time. Update: 3 hours have passed since my very nervous confession to my “Georgia,” and I now have a girlfriend 😅. How did it happen? Long story short, since my first language is French and she’s been learning some French with me, I deliberately got her to learn the words of my confession without her knowing so that she would know that I was 100% genuine. One of our favorite songs is La Vie En Rose by Edith Piaf and my confession went along the lines of “Avec toi, je vois la vie en rose” (with you I see everything in rose tinted lenses/glasses/or whatever you’re seeing through). Which in this sense means that everything is perfect with her by my side. I then asked her out while the firework show started. As I am very much an introvert as mentioned earlier, she took the lead in the New Years kiss which was coincidentally (or maybe not so 😌) in a rose garden. Thank you again everyone for reading!
