This reminds me of a guy I met when I was 8 I used to sit behind him and I heard his name and I instantly called him "Abraham Lincoln " he immediately turned around and I said "don't call me that or else ' I remember I laughed and from that day on I would always call him that .I remember thinking he was cute, but I liked my guy bestfriend at the time.I had a fallout and I returned to church when I was 11 and I saw him and my bestfreind . I remember thinking they for sure have changed . I am pretty sure he remembered me but he acted like he didn't, but u can tell he did .one day I walked to class early and he was there with his friends in the corner . They pushed him and he walked to me . And I was thinking these are some weird people. But when I looked at him . It was like he was walking in slow motion. The room somehow changed into this nice color . It was like the world used to be plain but all of the sudden there was color . I remember just wanting for the moment to last. I blinked and everything was back to normal. He stood infront of me ." I want to tell u something . I - never mind ." And with that he walked back to his friends. I was just stuck there wondering what happened with me and what he wanted to say so I did what I felt was right at the moment . I ran .and waited for my friends to come with me back to the room. I think that day was the day I realized how long it took to fall for someone. I spent times with him trying to get to know him but not wanting him to know that I liked him . But it was way too obvious. There where times where he would do or say things that would make it sound like he was hinting he wanted to know me . I spent Years like that. I was to shy . He was too shyy. In the year 2020 I was ready to give it a shot and go for it. But he moved away before I could . I remember being heartbroken. I WISHED I would have a second or I guess third chance to meet him and set things right . The pianos really sets the mood because I love pianos and playing them and we would always seem to find eachother in a room with a piano ,or a piano seemed to always be playing in the background. Sorry if u had to read me venting here but .this song just really sets the mood here and bring memories and that feeling .
