Rick Johnson He said in an interview he really looked up to Johny Hendricks and felt bad that he had to do that to him. Wonderboy just an all around good dude
Agreed, Stittgen was actually out before he even hit the floor. He just fell on top of his right arm with all his body weight and let his head hit the floor. Ellenberger got clipped hard, but he wasn't out cold.
2:40 should probably go down as one of the best ufc knockouts in history. Snuck that kick in like it came from the shadow realm. This guy’s ability to control distance and use his kicks to his advantage is amazing. He slipped that hand perfectly with a back step and Boink goodnight.
I will not be happy until wonderboy gets the belt. This man is the classiest sportsmen i've ever seen and arguably the best/most entertaining standup fighter there is. He deserves everything he gets, and is a role model for everyone. PS. I also think wonderboy v adesanya would be an excellent matchup
Haha looks like you’ll be sad for the rest of your life then. Nice guys don’t get anywhere, and Stephen is old and a loser nice guy. Sucks to be you LOOOOOOOOL
I love how gentle the refs are with Thompson once they stop the fight, you can tell that they know how nice of a guy he is, and the fact that they don’t need to body slam Thompson cause he’s clearly out there to compete and not hurt anyone in a long term way
If you know there's a fire and you tell people immediately they all leave and while they might be thankful you won't be a hero. But if you don't tell anyone and show up late you can be a hero and "rescue" the people.
That was just because he realised he was too close. Thompson is as respectful as they come but he does not take chances when it comes to fighters who look like they're hurt (and rightfully so), he would have gone for that headkick if the range was right.
3:04 I just watched it with 0.25 speed and it's really nice how the moment he starts dodging the overhand or hook, he uses the same movement to start the weight transfer needed to put a lot of power on the kick. I guess a lot of counter attack techniques are based on this concept.
I love number 4 when he might have accidentally kicked him in the balls and made sure he was alright before he finished him 1:02 he's such a honorable dude.
One of thew best stand up fighters I have seen, a joy to watch, also got to be one of most fair play fighters ever. The amount of times he has knocked someone down and let them get up or looked to the ref like "Do I have to pound him before you stop this"
Rngnd1314 I guess sense the almighty Rngnd1314 said it, it must be true. After all you are the authority on all things MMA.....I'm not being scarcastic, I'm totally serious........seriously....
@Alex Amaya Not sure how this is pretentious and in the end, you're also agreeing with me, so I'm pretty confused with what you're saying. Haha. I literally said in my comment, karate doesn't work.
2:40 is one of my favorite knockouts ever. The kick was so clean, probably had the dude like Eddie Alvarez after the McGregor fight..”I honestly thought it was a punch, it was so fast” 😂😂😂
@@craigcrissman4651 that’s a tough fight tho against Colby but i would love to see that too. Wonderboy could be like a Jan type champion tho where he’s champ in his late 30’s
@@TRIIGGAVELLI thats because he used his overhand right to set up the kick. Dude thought he was slipping the big shot instead he was moving his head into the real one
That Stittgen one is the best, because of the crazy quick, smooth, and accurate combo, as well as the awesome flip celebration and superhero landing 😆😆🔥🔥💯💯
@@Xapi3 although I agree, styles make fights. Just cause Masdival beat him like that doesn't mean Wonder boy could do the same. Plus, in most cases Muay Thai beats Karate.
@@judasjunior6503 Exactly. Masvidal is a counter puncher, till is aggressive and keeps his head high. Lots of people saw that KO coming. Thompson schooled Masvidal when they fought. But Yeah, Thompson could finish till if he pushed. Not sure about twood though. He was wise to be scared of the big right. It floored him everytime it connected.
@@shadowthefirst5115 I'm a noob. I just saw the Whittaker clip and thought wow hard to believe that guy is such a dominant champion atm if he got finished by Wonderman. Would be cool to see Izzy in another striker's chess match.
