Con, you're nuts dude. Lol Doing the bass synth part. A bass player can do all the string slapping they want all night, but doing this base line run for 4 minutes is like holding your breath under water for 4 minutes. Incredible discipline and focus. You never cease to amaze me. You're one of the most talented bass players on the planet! Mind blowing.

I was 8 years old when this song came out, and in 2nd grade in elementary/primary school. I had not been back to that school or that part of my hometown since I moved away from that area when I was 13 years old. 42 years later, I am currently back in my hometown after checking on my mother, and just drove past that school and day care center I was at after school ended. Everything from that time just came rushing back, that I had to pull over with tears in my eyes, because despite all of my travels and where I currently live, I miss that time and want to not only be back at that time, but back permanently in my hometown. It's amazing how The HSCC can bring all of that back with one single song. Whatever you guys are doing, just please don't stop.

Geeee. I, seriously find it difficult to listen to HSCC, with all of these amazing voices, perfect sounding instruments, yet NEVER hear even one very slight deviation at all. Not even a fourth of a second that's 'off' on note/sound. Y'all have been at the very top of my list for any songs, covers, etc. I'm an American woman who is 60ish, a little older than each of you. BUT, that just means I'm a little more 'wiser' when it comes to having an 'ear' for notes/sounds. Seriously, though, I want to THANK each of you for helping me deal with some of the pain I feel every day. Truly.... Thank you all. ❤

One of the catchiest songs ever recorded and so emblematic of the 80's when we had the sense that today was great, but tomorrow would be better still, and next week, next month, next year even more so. And that excitement, that mood of optimism was reflected in the songs. You guys have caught that mood and rebirthed it and made it real again. Thank you and well done!

Even in stationary traffic on a rainy Friday afternoon... as the condensation mists up the window without A/C, playing airdrums on the steering wheel. I'd recommend anyone who wants to have a good laugh while watching a TV show and listening to great music, check out Peter Kay's Car Share. If you can, watch the bloopers reel... It's hilarious.
