This was an impromptu video we shot this weekend on our first sailing outing of the year. I've always wanted to try putting my mast up solo. I have a shot rotator cuff and it was quite painful to lift the mast. Otherwise the process went very smooth.

Pretty much the way I do it on my Wave. But when I grab the mast I also grab the line I have attached to the main halyard so I don't have to reach down to cleat the lines.

Awesome. I may try this method!

Tie the jib sheet up the mast a little ways and you won't have to reach down.
