I have tried the option of DOB by flipping an year and proceed forwarded and then came back and edit the application profile for dependent and corrected the DOB and move forwarded. It worked fine with me. I am at the Payment step, paid using the Dynamic QR and amount deducted, updated in 2 min. It worked and finally no slots avaialble until Jan ending for Chennai VAC

I have a question: at 12:14, it seems that you are being asked to schedule an OFC appointment. Why is OFC required if you are eligible for Interview waiver? Did you have to schedule 2 appts: 1 for OFC, 1 for Consular? Or is the OFC appointment itself the interview waiver appointment?

I have a question, I tried to book visa appointment for H1B stampping, First I opened an application, then select Kolakata location, Then by mistake I close the application, then start the new application, this time I choose Hyderabad location, In my portal manage application section, i can see 2 application, one shows active other one shows closed, would it be a problem? any suggestions or highly appreciated

Hi! I was able to add a dependent h4 in the same form, but the form doesn’t ask any interview waiver questions for the dependent as it dies for h1b. Should I create another account for h4? Or will they automatically give me the interview waiver for h4 after I hit submit? Eligible because its f1 to h4 change of status)

Hi did you get the appointment? All H&L processing will be centralized in the U.S. Consulates in Chennai and Hyderabad. This change will only apply to applicants who are scheduling new appointments. Existing appointments will be honored in their originally scheduled locations. It looks like we can only book appointments in Chennai/Hyd.

Did you use the same Ds-160 confirmation number after canceling and starting a new application?

Hi sir, I have a scenario here. I have created ds160 for myself and my wife for US travel. Then have paid visa fees and booked appointment. I got my daughter(6yrs) passport just now. I am thinking of creating ds160 for her now, create dependent profile using my mail ID and then logging in using my profile and then paying visa fees for her. Since she is minor her interview need not be scheduled. Please guide me if I am wrong in any way. My another concern is, if while paying visa fees, is it allowed only for my daughter. Will it show up only for her, since I have already paid for myself and my wife.

In January, I am planning a book appointment for my family. My wife and elder kid have expired visas, but my second kid is one month old and just got her passport. While filling out applicant details in the interview waiver section for kids, I can see a message: "Whether parents have a valid visa, select yes or no." What do I need to select since we are planning to book an appointment on the same day? whether kids will be eligible for dropbox if they select no? please suggest

Thanks for the dropbox confimration page link that allows you to check your confirmtion before selecting the dates. Thats a great hack to make sure that the info you filled in the application is actually getting populated correctly when yu will select your final ofc dates

I am on the same boat and not able to add the dependent and move forward. its showing the same error as showing on above video and with Name_Dob_Email is already present on the system. Tried reaching to customer service but no one responding. Can I able to book appointments separately through 2 profiles for H1 and H4 and can submit the documents at drop off at same time together? How it will be different on adding dependent on one profile and submitting documents vs booking on different accounts & submitting the documents? Can some one on same scenario provide the feedback?
