Dear Melanie, After bingewatching almost all your video’s, I feel like introducing myself to you… I’m an (caricature) artist from The Netherlands, very close to the German border, but my English is better than my German… 😉 When I was about 15 years young, I had tapdance classes. I was never very good at it, but I’ve always loved it!! Now I’m almost 50 and I’ve picked up tapdancing since past February, after I had lost 20 kilo’s of weight. In our home, through RU-vid, with shoes I ordered online. Among other channels, you have helped me tremendously and I thank you a LOT for that. 🫶 I decided for tapdancing because I love it so much, it is FUN, good exercise too, but also… I have an anxiety disorder. Pretty out of balance… Trying to find my balance for tapping, really works through to my mental health, I’m doing so much better!! I try to tap every day and I loooove it, I think I’m a bit better than when I was 15. 😊 Progressing bit by bit. And, a very fun fact… We have the exact same wallpaper as you show in this video. Not only that, but just like you, we have it upside down…!!! 😂🤣 (watch the flowers in the vases and the ribbons to see what I mean.) Again, thank you so much for all you do, you help me enormously. 💞
Dear Johanna, thank you so much for your message!! And for your kind words! I think your story is very inspiring! I am so happy I can help you 🙂 And grateful too that tap dance helps us finding our balance!! I hope you go on with it and enjoy it as much as you do! All the best, happy to hear from you, greetings from Munich
@@MelanieOster Thank you so much for your kind reply, Melanie! I will keep tapping (trying) for as long as I can in this life! 😁 I practice 6-7 times a week and in my head, I practice… ongoing… 😂 It’s a wonderful addiction!! ❤️
@@MelanieOster It is! I have a question Melanie, if you don’t mind. Could you tell me what would be the best way to hold my toes in my shoes? I tend to cramp/claw them like as if I try to grab the soles of my shoes with my toes. 🤪 Should I try to relax my toes? Hm, maybe the shoes are a little bit to wide there…? 🤔 I really don’t know, I ordered them online and had to use heel grips to make them fit better, so my heels won’t slip out. Thank you in advance! ✌️
@@JohannaVeerenhuis I just saw your message, try not to cramp/claw your toes, your feet should be relaxed most of the time! The muscle work comes from your upper leg mainly ;-) Let me know if it helps your tapping improve 🙂
