@@AudioSignalSuite their longevity is pretty amazing, two of the speakers are ones my father brought back from overseas when he was in Vietnam and two of them I picked up second hand myself his were the 1500s the ones I got were 200 the 1500s are 60 w and the 200s are 40 w I would prefer to have them balanced but the 40s are the rears and the 60s are the front

@@KatS-c8j yes, back then he said all the soldiers in nam bought the stuff cheap and brought it home to there family's, he got the 5000 receiver and a pioneer PL 41 turn table and the two 1500s for a very reasonable price in 1969.

Yes, the bass should ideally cancel out, meaning it will become quieter. (The right sound wave ideally cancels out the left one, 180 degree phase shift) So if the bass sounds quieter in the video at the moment “Now it must sound wrong,” then the speakers are correctly connected. For your information, if you place the speakers opposite each other with incorrect polarity, everything will cancel out. (Ideally only, as this doesn’t fully happen in reality)
