Stereoscopic parallax
Aerial Photography is one of the most popular part of Remote Sensing.
Parallax
• Parallax is an apparent shift in the position of an object due to shift in the position of the observer camera.
• The objects at a higher height lie closer to the camera and appear relatively larger than similar objects at a lower elevation.
• The tops of the objects are always displaced relative to their bases

This difference in parallax gives a three-dimensional effect when stereo pairs are viewed stereoscopically.
