Shannon, my mother Elizabeth Robinson worked in the financial aid office at Savannah St for 25 years and she always raved about you and knew you would make it. I actually went in the Army in 1983 and did 20 years and I did watch you play a few games in person at State and I do remember seeing you drive around in that Mercedes from time to time when I was home on leave in the Army😃😃. Youve done great in your career and as a Savannah native myself, we are proud of you and my mother still rave about you.

Sterling could use Terrel Davis as his case to get in. Hall of Famer Terrel Davis in 6 years he played he dominated. 3 pro bowls, 3 first-team all-pro, 2 Superbowl champions, 1 Superbowl MVP, 1 season MVP, 2 times NFL offensive player of the year, one time NFL rushing yards leader, 2 times NFL touchdown leader, NFL 1990s all-decade team. He only played 6 years but he dominated so... same with Sterling.

I remember having Sterling Sharps football cards back in the day; he used to wear the Randall Cunningham face mask and might still be the only WR to wear that style of mask.He made the diving catch famous...he is in the same company as Jerry Rice and Michael Irving; he should be in the hall of fame. Sometimes the HOF should take into consideration the trajectory of a player prior to injury. His stats are good enough to get in-especially considering his direct impact on the game during his era; he would have definitely made more pro bowls and all pros for sure- if not for him sustaining injury.

Sterling Sharpe is underrated. The man was actually competing with luminaries as the league's prime WR and was easily a consistent top five position player ... but being a little behind Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice is nothing to be ashamed about.
