I ordered the b6 in forest green as well! But mine is the white edges. And it’s almost all set up and ready for next year! It will be my EDC as I’m also a grad student and will be starting my dissertation so my idea is to keep everything in this one book, including notes. And if i run out of pages before the end of the year then I’ll just get a small companion notebook. But i hope that doesn’t happen as i have the Cousin right now with an extra notebook and it’s just a lot to carry with me on the subway to campus or the library or whatever. @@Rebeka_Plans yeah planners for university is tough especially at this stage in my academic career because all of my paid work is tied into my school work so i really can’t separate the two. And my personal life unfortunately is a small part of my every day so i just have everything in one planner because separating my personal life would leave me with A LOT of blank pages.
Great video! I am doing the opposite! I am pairing the caramel/gold with a VDS cover in light undyed Janet velvet leather. because I couldn't find a darker color I liked . check out that combo ; ) I would show you but I don't have the cover yet. :)
I must admit, I fell for the “hype” around the common planner. Ordered it and really wasn’t impressed. The Take A Note is really beautiful and I also ordered that. Lastly, I got and A6 Kinbor which I love. I really want to use just one planner but since I’ve spent money on all these, I’m now struggling to figure out what to use each one for. 2025, I will definitely get what is best for me and not fall for all the hype around all the planners!
I am also paring down my planners in 2024. And honestly, I think finding contentment and creativity in a simpler system is going to be a great challenge but also opportunity!
you are so right! I actually think having less planners is going to make me more creative and have more fun with my planners! probably also because I would most likely have time to actually USE them haha
They're the planners I ordered first, and the ones I'm least likely to use in 2024! 🤣 I love her products, but a July preorder doesn't make sense for my needs, unfortunately. Everything I used since then has changed, and I am trying to find a purpose for the two I ordered from Sterling Ink! I know that once I receive them, I'll want to find a need for them, because they're BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for sharing yours!
Oh really? That is actually quite sad, I feel like the disappointment unpacking a brand new planner just to find that the cover is damaged is one of the worst feelings 😓 maybe you can get your hands on a full year one once the preorders are sent out and the leftover stock goes live?
I got a B6 set, an A5 set, and two passport horizontal planners. I also got two A5 booklets and a passport weekly booklet set. I They are for the following: B6 set - self care and mental health, A5 set - catch all planners, passport horizontal - daily verse writing, A5 booklet 1 - health and wellness tracking, A5 booklet 2 - financial tracking, and passport weekly booklets - daily prayers. I sold my second passport horizontal planner.
I just sold my TN & passport from Sterling Ink & I did it because I realize I need more space. So I been thinking buying a B6 & A5 for my liner for next year and I think it will be good and better for me. For my personal stuff, Faith & work. Let see if I can get the Sterling Ink Planners in this coming release.
I really disliked the notion of having to buy a planner in July much for the reasons you listed. It's halfway through the year -- how much does life change? It depends but needs shift, goals shift, life shifts. I am staying the course with my Cousin. No SI orders for me. I didn't want to have to decide when there was still a half year to go... I hope you can figure it out! 🙂
I totally get it and I am a bit frustrated as well, but I also get why small shops need a lot of time for pre-orders and such! I was 100% sure the Cousin is not going to be a good choice for me next year so the Common planner was an easy choice in July but of course with all the other releases happening now it is quite hard not buying other ones as well 🙈
The struggle is real! I also preordered two of the N1 compacts but my plans got messed up after the booklets were released. I'm still not quite sure what I'm doing with them.
oh its soo terrible, i ordered the b6 for next year.. (which is still held by customs in the netherlands) and bought 2 gillio's for it even! i was 100% sure.. THEN i thought well, maybe stay with a5 cause cousin is also a5 and its working this year.. why switch it up next year.. i like monthly and weekly in the cousin but the backpages too big then i figured stickerkits wont fit b6 ofcourse, panic panic.. then i found another whole different planner and ordered it :D and now thinking if i should just grab a notebook cause im so confused.. i kinda hate it! Your caramel one looks very pretty, perfect with the gilded edge
Consider using the B6 for your BUJO collections. At least those pages are numbered; I don't think the SI notebook pages are numbered. I have the pebbled brown moterm with the same A5 planner that you have. It's not the veg tan leather. The pebble brown is slightly darker than the planner-very matchy.

I love my full black B6 from SI and the A5 compact. However, after seeing your chunky A5, its making wish I would have gotten the chunky...LOL. That caramel!!!!! Gorgeous!!!!
I LOVE chunky, it just feels so satisfying to hold it 😍 but I am sure your compact is nice as well and if you don't need that many notes pages than that's totally the right choice for you! if you use stickers and such it will bulk up anyway! ❤️
i was using the sterling ink B6 half yearly planners this year but decided to try the Wonderland222 A5 full year for a catchall. I plan to take a small notebook in my bag to write notes and appts etc but everything will go in the Wonderland but I will probably leave it at home most days and only occassionally take it into the office. If i dont like this system I will switch it out the next year and maybe try the Cousin.
