Congrats Sterling. He is right. The way the writers write for his character and Beth is the most honest and accurate I’ve seen for a majority white show. The cast and writers are excellent.

He was really good in the 2017 film, "Marshall", which was based on an actual case from the early days of former Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall, in which Sterling's character was accused of raping a well-to-do woman, played by Kate Hudson. Fantastic movie!

Oscar and Emmy are the same company Emmy= Tv shows only Oscar= Movies so if he won an Emmy, it’s like he won an Oscar but for Tv Tv shows. Thank you very much.

TheDell01 I think you took what I wrote the wrong way. Never said that Sterling didn't deserve because he does. All I'm saying is so far the only person that has been nominated and winning these award shows is Sterling, which is great because he did a phenomenal job. However I personally think the academy is overlooking Milo, because for the past two seasons he did an equally phenomenal job. I'm just waiting Milo to also get the recognition he deserves. Also, I still don't understand how you took my original comment negatively. Are you really that overly sensitive?

He has a Denzel Swagger but aside from that... he his such a smart, talented actor, regardless of race. Now, his character is complicated as hell and yes, it's written for a black man so that is terrific in itself. I love diversity in Cinema so I'm already on board. I love this show!

Can someone help me out please. I know how to speak English but I don't exactly know what he means (at the end of the speech) when he says - that makes more difficult to"dismiss" me... Does it mean that he (the director) couldn't have chosen other actor but a black man?
