Shannon turns into a lil kid when he around his bro. He really looks up to that man. Great Job Sterling being role model for your younger brother. It’s needed in our community
Yes! I loved so much about this! Bucket taking care of Shannon’s young daughter! He trusted him! Sterling showing love ❤️ to his brother Shannon and not afraid to say it! I love Chad! He is a great guy! He reveals so much about himself! I love his vulnerability especially when he talks about his Mom! Shannon gave Chad his props and appreciation as well at the end of this segment! Beautiful black men who I ✊ respect so much!
"If you have to look outside your dinner table to find a role model, then something is wrong at home..." That is one helluva quote. Quotes like that make me appreciate my dad and my granddad and the wonderful job they did with me. They werent always right, or directly guided my every step, but they gave me something to watch and me watching them be great men was enough. RIP Granddad and I still thank my dad to this day...
Yeah, his career was cut short due to injury. But several former players and HOFs say he was legit during his playing days. He was better than Shannon supposedly, even Deion said Sterling was too strong and physical to cover.
@5:45 When ‘Ocho’ Grabbed His Phone For His Notes After ‘Sterling’ Said “We Were Always Taught That If You Have To Look Past Your Own Dinner Table To Find A Role Model, There’s Something Going On In Your Home” . Booyyyyy , That Was A Gem‼️💯
There is power in black men who love and support each other. I truly respect these guys on this stage. The first shall be last and the last shall be first.. I love all people, but when I see black people together...It gives me joy!
Shannon isn't being humble when he says his brother was better, Sterling was incredible. Arguably top 3 WR in the league at his peak. That's saying something when Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin are still in their prime.
The Sharpe brothers are the epitome of brotherly love. These men are role models in every aspect of the word!!! Men, take notes and notice these two MEN are not afraid to show their love and affection for each other!!
You have to do a lot more than talk about somebody from them to be in the Hall of Fame there's been thousands of players that have played in lots of sports we talked about them a lot it doesn't mean they deserve to be in the Hall of Fame good just not all-time great he didn't care enough @@PaulWilliams-rw8ci
You can tell Unc look up to him as a father figure. If you notice how Unc moves his leg he's nervous listening to his Bro speak. That's respect and love.
Sterling is my guy...should be an NFL Hall of Famer in my opinion just like his brother Shannon because Sterling at his peak before the career ending injury...Sterling was top tier as a receiver
Facts!! Every year he played he was a top 3 WR in the league. It was him, Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice. Throw Herman Moore in there on Thanksgiving Day. 😂😂
As a kid, I grew up in NJ in the early 80s, and Sterling Sharpe was the reason I started watching the NFL. People automatically thought I was a Giants or Jets fan, but to this very day, I am a proud Packers fan because of Sterling
This conversation needs to go viral. The way this black man honors his brother and Sterling giving Ocho his flowers was beautiful. This made me as a black woman feel amazing.
THIS IS THE EPISODE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! Sterling i seen your lil bros buss in canton and you should be right next to him understand sterling wanting to stay low but man oh man do he got fans that want to see that smile more!!
Man, Shannon doesn’t speak over doesn’t interrupt or add on to something while his brother was talking, he love his big brother and it reminds me of how much I love my baby brothers. This was awesome to see. I always love when Sterling comes around. Shoutout to the Chad nod as well!
As a South Carolina fan my whole life, I didn’t get to watch sterling play in Columbia, but I’ve seen the tape, and I’ve heard him speak, even met him once. He is everything that signifies what it means to be a USC Gamecock. Handles his business, pro work ethic, playmaker, locker room glue, devoted leader. Gotta find a jersey 🤙🏼
It certainly is! What a great segment! Sterling is so articulate and his answers are full of wisdom! He loves his brother and he is not afraid to say it! Two beautiful young brothers! Chad is great also! ❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽👏👏😎😎🌷🌹🌼🌸🌻💚🤍🩷💜🩵🩶
Having not met these two, they are without a doubt my favorite brothers in sports.. The way they carry themselves, the respect they have their grandparents and the respect they show to each is amazing…..my brother and I like that. Much respect to you Unc!!!
Finally we get to see the two bros interact! Always saw how Shannon talked so lovingly about his big bro. Even admitted Sterling the better of the two and Shannon has a huge ego.
Sterling sharp was my favorite wide receiver as a kid and him and Brett Farve is why I was a Packers fan even as a dallas fan. I was so confused when Sterling dissappeared because he was at his peak. I love they're brotherhood Ra Spect 👏🏽
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Love how they gave everyone their flowers and seeing the love that Shannon and Sterling have for each other is so commendable and respected. Same for Unc and Bucket. Love the chemistry and bond that Ocho and Unc has built as well. Love it!!
I’m not sure that I’d have ever guessed that they were brothers just based on their personalities and the way that they speak lol. Sterling definitely gives off that “dad energy”. A real shame that we don’t see him on the show more. I would love to see him on with Deion and have them talk about the old days in the league. Beautiful brotherhood right there. Deep and real.
I certainly loved watching Shannon play his whole career, but Sterling is one of my all time favorite receivers. Glad I got to watch him growing up. It was devastating to see his career cut so short.
Shannon. I love the way you speak of your brother Sterling and he of you. I love it. It reminds me of me & my younger brother who I just unfortunately lost. I actually tear when I hear you speak of your love and respect of one another. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍
I don't know how young some of you are, but when Sterling was playing the best receivers were Sterling and Jerry. Believe me, many had Sterling the best because he was doing his numbers with horrible qbs. He finally got Brett Favre but only had 1 season with him. His numbers would have been insane as Favre matured into the qb he became.
That was amazing, Sharpe brothers I grew up watching yall, Mr. Sterling is a LEGEND in my mind. Uncle, you already know, we are so proud of y9u for building this platform, a positive, intelligent, brotha, Ocho, you have always been entertaining, I know you was playing the sidelines in this one, but, much respect to you as well, my brotha. Keep it up, yall CSS team!! ✊🏽
Thats beautiful man, I grew up in the chruch too, love that you had an older brother to look up to, my older brother literally was an example of what "not" to be, i always think of what "could have been" if we had the same relationship like y'all. S/o to the Sharpe Brothers and Ocho!
❤❤❤one of the best interviews damn loved it everyone giving each other their flowers 💐 amazing and chad sitting back taking it all in man we need more of this in life live ,love, and laugh
Y'all youngins that never got a chance to see Sterling play. Trust and believe when i tell u if he had never gotten hurt, he would've been a top 5 easy wr of all time, maybe top 2. And he played in a era were dbs could literally take your head off and wouldn't get flagged, and he still dominated. This guy was a legit stud back in the day.
This is the BEST Nightcap, much love to Sterling, Shannon and honorary Brother Chad, I LOVED WATCHING THIS SEGMENT, real Brotherly Love, continued blessings to you all ❤️🖤💚
