I thought it smelt like you! I just looked at your Maroon 5 riffs video again and I think it actually is the same one. I noticed in yours, the B string is like an inch long sticking out from the tuner.... same on this guitar, and the strings on this weren't brand new. So my guess is... we have a match!
Wdyt about this guitar in term of quality? Is it on par with MIM Fender? On verge between this vs MIM Fender or Squier Tele with humbucker single coil configuration (should I go cheaper with Squier, or go higher with Fender, or this is exactly in between?)
I found a used one that cost a little bit over Squier CV and under Fender MIM. Gotta try those, if I like it, I'll buy it over MIM Fender. Thank you for your response
It’s just the roasting process I think. You often see differences in colour with roasted maple. I imagine different roasting times, or perhaps different grades of maple, appear different There’s probably also a really good scientific reason haha
Is this clearly a class above a Squire Custom Vibe? A G&L Tribute? A Hagstrom Ultra Swede? Schecter PT Special ? all of these are at least a little less expensive...
Personally, its light years ahead. It's not even in the same price bracket. The Squires are in the £300-400 price mark and this is almost double that. Sterling are putting out some awesome guitars. The Schecter is probably on par with it. I can't speak for the G&L or Hagstrom because I've never played them
