The common is nice but from a size perspective I won’t really say it fixed that against the cousin. It would have been fixed if it was same size with the cousin without the quotes. So basically they just sort of cut out quotes and the labeling on the size but not necessarily keeping the dimensions and just removing the quotes and labels

Just received my half-year books with black cover. Absolute perfection! The monthly pages will be for keeping track of appointments and the weekly pages for planning my days in more detail. I’ll probably use the back pages as a commonplace book, to record things I’ve learned, new words, notes from classes. I don’t expect to fill up all the pages by the end of the year, but I don’t mind leaving blanks.

I am sold 🙌 love this! Now it's time to get one of this and get ready for 2023🥳

Such a gorgeous planner! I haven‘t received mine yet (perks of overseas shipping), but I‘m going to use it to keep track of all of my appointments and meetings, and I‘m going to use the blank pages in the back for a mixture of work and study notes. 💙

I actually whimpered a little when you pulled out the box/drawer. 😄 Such a nice design element! I got notifictation of mine shipping two days ago and I can't wait. I'm currently using Hobonichi Techo for personal/fun journaling and a Weeks for work, but it doesn't have enough space for what I need. Really hoping that my Sterling Ink planners (I got the two half years) will do everything I need for work and possibly personal, as well. I think I told you before that I wanted to try the Cousin, but due to my disability and chronic pain, it's too big. Really hoping that B6 size of these planners will do the trick for me. So excited!

I also am a happy full year common planner receiver. My box too was slightly dented thanks to my mailman jamming it into my mailbox. Will be my every day carry work/personal journalling all in one.

Ive tried the Passion Planner, Jibun Techo, Leuchtturm1917 yearly planner and the only thing that has worked for me is Ryder Carroll Bullet Journal method I have been using it for nearly five years now and I highly recommend it

I've never used a hobonichi, but I've considered getting a hobonichi techo. I do like this planner. If bullet journaling starts to seem like a bit much I might consider buying one

A lovely looking planner! Alway fun to see new ones. And YES the 24 hour spread in several Japanese planners is not helpful. This one is much better!

Wow! I'm happy to receive my full year planner. I'm going to use it as a personal planner which includes household tasks, bills, goals, etc. I also have my cousin avec hobonichi for memory keeping and as a creative outlet.

I was planning on getting her planner because I like the idea of the year on the spine and the different textured cover. BUT I didn’t like the gold, I prefer simple. I was hoping the common planner would have had the option to purchase silver foil for the year and letter and no foil on the pages from the outside. Am I too picky?

Can you pls tell me which paper is smoother ( less tooth) Stalogy or the sterling ink? Thanks

If this notebook was A5 size, I’d probably buy one. Unfortunately, the daily breakdown not going the full 24 would be tough for me, because I work nights.

I’m using mine for balancing work-school-life because as someone with ADHD I get hyper fixated on one task and forget the other 90%

I’m curious about the quality and weight of the paper in this planner and if there’s any bleed through, shadowing or feathering of specific pens or inks in this planner. I have never heard of this planner before but I am currently unhappy with my setup as it’s to big and not fitting my needs. This looks right up my alley and would prevent me from needing a planner and journal

I just wrote over the quotes on the dailies of my HoBo. They’re light enough to write over. Still annoying that they’re there to begging with though. I won’t be getting a HoBo again as the colours and quotes are too intrusive and I am counting down to getting a A5 full year Common Planner for 2024!

still not great to me - I don't get the logic of placing the day's page far away from weeks - it actually annoys me a lot. I want this but each week has 7 individual days afterwards.

I actually thought this was a prank, I genuinely didn’t realise people still used paper journals and planners. Each to their own, but I think I’ll stick with e-ink, less bulk, and single, rather than annually.
