Our second video features newer code with more video and audio assets, newer rules and better lighting effects. It's still an early version, but gives an idea of what's to come as the code and assets develop.
They really need to rework the audio. Fix the spinner sound and put other John Barry music from the films, not just the Bond theme over and over again.
@@johneldridge2082 Cool out, John Eldridge. Are you really a fan of that dude’s books? If so, practice a little kindness, bud! Practice what you preach, pal
Thank you for providing the sneak peak. Saw plenty of bird 1 multi-ball and jetpack multi-ball. and about 4 Q's Ring. I'm wondering if that was a setting or the other Q modes haven't been coded yet. Missile didn't seem to dongle a lot. The left spinner sound, while probably being movie correct, is a bit much. Hopefully that can be adjusted down, or better yet, just invent a menu option of different spinner sounds to choose from. Please Stern, please. The font seems to be the same as Stranger Things, which is an odd choice given Bond has fantastic fonts. The starting bond theme tone is great, but there's so many John Barry and soothing bond themes that can be integrated to take you on a Bond journey, rather than bash you over the head and numb you to Bond tones. The player seemed to avoid the right ramp shot like the plague. Didn't see many S-P-E-C-T-R-E shots, the letters also seemed to be being collected not in order, seems difficult to start the main modes Goldfinger, Dr. No, You Only Live Twice ect. The under water/flipper shot seems to have a playfield divot that keeps the ball in that area even with a missed shot. The car kick-out seems to work very well. Center button doesn't seem to be lit or used very much. Really hope this is early code and there is more film footage.
Why not? The shots look tight. Ball loses momentum. Looks like the right ramp doesnt line up with left flipper. He misses the shot repeatedly. Very few interactions with ladies is a missed opp.
Looks like it could be a lot of fun! Not as much as say JP or Godzilla but still pretty good. Bond fans should be pretty happy. Not sure why people post videos with the glass off?? Especially in early videos where people are seeing the game for the first time. The exaggerated sounds of flippers, pop bumpers, ball movement etc is distracting when trying to get an overall first opinion of the game.
It looks like it´s leaning and a lot. Also having the John barry score going on and on and on gets bloody annoying after a couple of hours. Arent there any other bond songs in the game?
they had so much bond music to go with. Almost every movie had a nice them song to it. It might have cost them a bit more, but licensing a few of those songs would have been a great idea.
Remember, this code was put together to meet the deadline of the 60th anniversary events in London so that those attending had something which played and had some multiballs, modes and awards, along with some approved Bond music, quotes and animations. No doubt the eventual release will look and sound very different. This video is about showing the shots, the gameplay and the game's potential.
maybe this is an odd comment, but... i really, REALLY dislike that choice of Jackpot sound in this software build. those blaring horns from the James Bond Theme are the *climax* of arguably *the most important song in the franchise* - hearing it every 5 seconds at the start of a Multiball, possibly even overlapping itself, WHILE THE FULL JAMES BOND THEME IS ALREADY PLAYING AS BACKGROUND MUSIC... it's an audio mess! i'm hoping to see that change.
Looks clunky as hell. Bigtime pass and not even that excited for location play. The jetback bond may be the most boring toy ever. It moves the ball and drops out the bottom, clunk.
