So obvious Beth married him for money. Howard knows it too. He is so insecure. They have an understanding... Beth gets whatever she wants and Howard has a tall blond on his arm. I bet they despise each other behind closed doors.
As a trucker, howard was like having a friend riding with me. I would get depressed when the show ended each day. I still listen to the old shows every day. I can't stand the new show. I like to remember him the rebel he was. Not the freak he is today
That first run at Sirius, up until Eric died and they killed both WUS and H100 News, was gold. Constant chaos, back office antics, people being idiots, just endless entertainment.
This version of the show got me through high school, being a construction worker and drywaller, through break ups and tough times, everything. There is no greater form of entertainment and when you listen as much as we do you really do feel like you’re a part of a friend group.
Howard and Ralph were lovers. At one point here Howard says to Ralph... "You are much funnier at home." Just one example. Ralph brushed Howard's wig on a mannequin head, did his laundry, and had coffee ready before Howard got out of bed.
@@TheFightFoo She's a distractor she's probably so mentally scared from the gay stuff She's seen. I bet you howard and ralphie go crazy !! Howard is only comfortable and is able to be in true self When he's around and with ralph
I just want to apologize to my wife Nancy for, uh, the Jessica Hahn bathtub incident. It was stupid and I'll never do anything like that again and I love you and I'm very sorry. And I'm very sincere. And don't, please don't make a mockery of this. I'm serious. I'm sorry. Im not trying to bring the show down I just wanted to apologize. She's very upset. Thank you. I'm done Howard..
This is the first time I’ve heard Gary be dead on with something. Robin did back out of the Bubba race, acted like it never happened and forgot that hobby altogether.
So clear Beth married him for his money and Howard married her because he wanted a tall blond on his arm in public. They have an understanding. It mostly has to do with Howard's insecurity. I bet they resent each other behind closed doors.
I'm surprised he stayed with her for so long. Thought maybe he would move onto someone younger, but I get it, he's too old and doesn't have the energy for new women.
*Artie: **_"We_** don't have two sets (of labia)!"* *Robin: "You have **_no_** lips, Artie!"* *Howard: "He probably has lips from being fat."* *(Wow. Sometimes Stern's eating disorder and c^ntiness combine perfectly.)*
@@backwardthoughts1022 Sorry, bro. Howard was mortified when he was over 200-pounds despite being *_6' 5."_* They both have a toxic relationship with food. The difference being , Artie never (constantly) humiliated Howard about his issues.
Howard is so terrible now. I also love listening to these old episodes and hear Howard pontificating on the future; and now listening today, he’s almost wrong about everything.
2:07:18 that's not remotely "stairways to heaven".. that just a simple 4 note up to down arpeggio over chords,.. any beginner guitarist can tell.. "stairways to heaven" has an accent and story telling to it like a classical song
It's not Paul's money though. I am a man, and I got to just say, Paul McCartney gave that woman all that money when he married her with no prenup. End of story. You can be upset for him, but he still Uber rich, and he still does not give to schitt's about you whatsoever, so the idea of shooting all over his one-legged ex-wife because she got what he gave her is a total joke. its absurd. Just like Michael Jackson, this guy teaches Michael Jackson about getting into music publishing, and then I'm supposed to be upset for him because Michael Jackson took his advice and bought the Beatles catalog
2:48:12 I hate when Artie acts like he’s Mr Gay Acceptance. He’s not, it’s pretty obvious. You know Artie at the dock would’ve been calling Ant a gay slur & totally agrees with DePace. In front of Howie he acts totally different.
Dude caught a lot of heat from external groups for being crazy homophobic. It peaked during the High Pitch Mike era and George Takei seemed to make a bigger impact on Artie than Howard did. Art was prob still homophobic but he had a bit more awareness of it at least. “Let me tell you something, this PC stuff, not using slurs, is good for the world…but it’s gonna suck for comedy”
@@CrowTRobot I know all that happened but he did before that. He did it with claiming to be an Obama supporter, he did it with religion knowing he came from a Catholic family but he’d make fun of people who believed in God with Howard. He acted like his views aligned with Howard’s all the time. It was phony. He would actually make fun of people who believed in God and Heaven & Hell, when his own mother was a devout Catholic.
