Biggest fan of Artie, loved these years on Stern! Was great to have someone who wasnt afraid to talk back to the "King". Cause at that time Artie was probably just as popular with the listeners as Howard himself, and he knew it! Which probably scared Howard! Artie lied about almost everything since he was always on drugs, but in this hes being real, and Howard was such a bicth and wimp and got offended at the Pelican comment, LOl, so great. Hes such a hypocrite! I miss these years. As a side note always hated Robyn. She provided nothing for the show. Just that annoying laugh, and would always just insert her point of view in conversations that had nothing to do with, just like she does here!

The fact of the matter is

I love how HS changed his tune when Artie said he was leaving. HS knew where his bread was buttered, and that Artie brought a lot of listeners and advertisers. His greed outweighed his pride, imo.

Before the Wrap Up Show that is mentioned, Artie told Bob he was going to go after him hard on the Wrap Up Show. He attacked Bob, not Howard. Howard was bitter and had to keep repeating to himself that he "did it for Artie" because he's a jerk that did something rude and can't live up to it. Also, Howard has been called "bro" and made fun off it or made fun of the word "bro" prior to 2007. His fake anger over Artie not being a "bro" is just another distraction to switch audience favorite from Artie to Howard. Shameful moment on Howard. A TedTalk on how not to treat your "bro".
