Ordered: Sterno Firestarter Instant Flame Gel, All-Weather Indoor and Outdoor Use, 16 oz, 6-Pack
Received 6 16oz. bottles of Firestarter flame gel. I would consider this gel similar to old-school napalm, except it is not dangerous as it doesn’t explode into flame, since its base is not gasoline. The Sterno gel lights clean and flames up smoothly. I created a small stick log cabin as I usually would in my wood stove, except not including any fatwood ignition source, as I use this Sterno Flame Gel instead. The flame gel lit up pretty much instantly when I applied a match to it. I allowed the sticks to fire for a couple of minutes and added some small logs and split logs. After about 6 minutes everything was a blaze, and the fire was good to go. Cold stove to a sustainable fire in under 6 ½ minutes. Pretty good fire starter. Not marking any stars off as this stuff works as advertised and works well, but Fatwood works just as well, and I find it easier to store and use. If you need fire-starting help that will work well for you this Sterno Flame Gel will help you out, get some. 😊
