@@obwan1 She went in willy nilly and killed the piglins without realising she could gain better resources by trading gold. And in return, she earned (pretty much useless) gold.
I like this. I also like to think Steve is more chill since 'Steve' has been the sole "main character" of Minecraft for years before Alex was added, so Alex being newer means there's still the whole 'aggressive/reckless playstyle' a lot of new players tend to have in a lot of games when veteran's are (usually) more laid-back and such
She didn't even hit him that hard, probably Steve took that as a: "why didn't you tell me we could do that instead of killing them?" Also if she wanted to harm him she would have used the pointy edge of the trident
I really like how Steve has started to leave his old sadistic tendencies behind, especially since now he’s working well and getting really comfortable with Alex. And the water bottle was a nice touch with this!
As others have pointed out, Steve is getting progressively calmer and Alex, while still hitting him a bunch and having tantrums, is a lot softer with her hits. What's also noteworthy is how confident Alex has become. Back then, the one that would be eager to go to the Nether would be Steve and Alex gets dragged along, but here we see Alex going in headstrong from the get-go!
Alright, subtle detail time! 0:06 Steve already having potions may mean he's been to the Nether before(unless he got them from witches and churches) 0:19 Alex literally booms into the Nether while Steve crouches out 0:22 The piglins don't biologically have pig heads, they're wearing them! Much like Silpaeja's villager and illager designs 0:23 Alex's ENTIRE body moves, torso and head. I missed that before since the trident spinning took the forefront. That said, the entire body moving has always been a staple technique in Silpaeja's animations! Pay attention to it throughout the video! 0:50 Parts of Alex move separately to add more nuanced motion to her bounce! The parts are 1. Most of her body 2. Her right arm 3. Most of the loot 4. The bottom sword(it has a cut-off line from her hand at the bottom lol) and lastly 5. The trident and the hand holding it doesn't move. 0:57 Alex playfully hits Steve with the back end of her trident. Mandela effect has me remember her knocking him with her fists instead. 1:04 I feel like I recognize this type of running from somewhere else... 1:06 They kick their legs in the air! 1:12 It's hard to see Alex's trident hitting the ghast. Though you'd know she used it since she very apparently retrieves it back afterwards. 2:00 Steve isn't wearing his helmet...and Alex is holding it! 2:19 Alex dropped Steve's helmet on the ground lol Silpaeja, this type of comment is an analysis to praise and appreciate your work, not to take it apart and criticize anything! Everything(including the mistakes you made) are fun and contribute to the video.
That actually isn't exactly true with steve having already gone to the nether. Reasoning is you can actually trade for blaze powder from villagers and get brewing stands from villages. It does take some time but considering how steve is with combat, he most likely just traded with villagers he had access to to get the potion ingredients. Of course he already had a nether portal running so who knows.
@@animerov286 I mean, the "manly man fends for the family" is pretty similar to this. The husband provides for the house and family and protects the family while the wife cares for the house and family and also protects the children. If ya don't want it, just say it but many still wants to partake in traditional roles. or you're a child that doesnt understand it which make sense because it's a minecraft video. Wth am I even doing HAHAHA
I absolutely love the character progression between Steve and Alex. From trolling and fighting each other to being a fully cooperative duo. The animation was very fluent and more detailed. Very awesome work.
I love how Alex hitting steve with the handle of the trident instead of giving him a punch or others and steve was just laughing showing how much development and trust/respect they both had for each other, wish they would be more than just friends here cause i'm down for this couple 😂
Me encanta el Desarrollo de ambos personajes dentro de este universo de Minecraft, Steve ya no es tan pesado y Alex ahora confía más en Steve , no puedo esperar para el siguiente capítulo.
That expedition to the Nether went well, both got plenty of resources their own way, even if Alex hits Steve for his way of doing things. But of course neither can stand up to a Ghast without feeling fear, but their takedown of it was pretty cool and funny how they popped it like a balloon. And I like how to deal with the Blazes Steve just gives Alex a bunch of ladders and lets her do her thing, only tossing a water splash potion on her to help her out before creating the Blaze farm for them. And now they have Eye of Enders, so next up on the list of big things to do is find a Stronghold in order to get to the end. And the wholesomeness of the two never not puts a smile on my face, they're just such a charming and adorable pair together.
I finally came back to this series after about a year of being apart from it, and it's still as amazing as ever. What hurts me though, is that they're progressing further and further now, which means what might come next would be *the End*.. I am a lover of angst. I want Steve to die when both he and Alex fight the Ender Dragon in an attempt to save the only true friend he's ever had, and open up a way for her to go back home. She'll be all alone then, and would have to learn how to recreate and maintain Steve's genius, and eventually she would fall into the same pit of despair Steve felt when he was truly all alone. And that's where the Respawn feature comes in! Steve respawns into the world.. He's the exact same person.. And yet, he has no memory of this world and of Alex. Will Alex stumble upon his existence like he did to her? Will they be able to remake that same bond they had? I'll leave it up to you guys on how things might progress from there. 😂
Steve would pretend to die and use it as a prank and seeing Alex's reaction change his mind then he would comfort her with the series ending with a kiss, or a punch, maybe both.
I like that they're getting along now. They still have very different approaches to situations, but they can acknowledge when one is more useful than the other. Either Steve's tactical method or Alex's violence first method. Also, just a side note, I love the design of the diamond armor, really looks like proper knight armor now. Love the animation, keep up the great work!
Why did Alex give those Eyes of Ender that look? That aside, love how Steve and Alex work together. They make the perfect team. Also, love the detail of Alex using the shaft of the trident to hit Steve. She doesn't want to hurt him and that's cute.
I can say with no exaggeration that this has better animation, storytelling, and choreography than pretty much all of the shows that've come out this year.
Depends on what you call a show if anime counts than this loses quite handedly if not then Alan Becker wins hands down with his latest video alon but still very good video don't let my words let you think this video isn't amazing
It depends quite heavily. Western animation only? Yeah, this is quite a lot better. RU-vid? This is better. Anime? I mean, this is inspired by anime for a reason.
The development of Steve and Alex has been equal to me, a MC veteran getting adjusted to new versions, and my girlfriend, who is just entering the world of videogames
Steve goes in after having done research on how to best traverse and get resources in The Nether. Alex goes in ready to pick up whatever loot mobs drop. Both are fun and understandable ways to play.
I like how Steve is becoming less unhinged and more calm, but I also like how his combat skills seem to be improving. They may not be on the level of Alex but he makes up for it with his ingenuity, I forgot that splash water pots can be used in the nether to extinguish yourself.
It's amazing how they've gone from wanting to troll and kill each other to true partners united in a mission larger than themselves like true Minecraft players should be. Also, am I alone in realizing I've never seen any Minecrafter survivalist or 100 days player from the mighty Technoblade to the humble BeckBroJack never once in their life make a Blaze farm? XD It feels strange but I guess that's a product of our "Speedrunning" culture now prevalent in Minecraft?
Honestly the thing i love most about the animations in this channel is how the facial expressions of each character surpasses any other small animation channels on RU-vid. I just love how the animator draw their facial expressions clearly, we can clearly see when characters are mad, distress, happy, sad, etc. Kudos!
I was really worried that RU-vid was just going to straight up delete your channel instead of helping you get it back after it got hacked. This was such a pleasant surprise in my notifs this morning, glad to see you back!
Adorable. Steve best support, Alex best tank/dps. Also, Steve didn't even prank her once this time ! He's getting better at dealing with his feelings !
