After wathcing season 4, I believe they are going to be endgame. I also think that their storyline has been set up since season 1. They broke up in the beginning and there are some detours but ultimately they will be together since both of their characters evolve.

In this moment I just can't decide who I want to be with Nancy. Both guys are great and she clearly knows that and it's such a hard situation for all of them. Steve was her first love and also is better man now. Jonathan was her true love and he already was a better man but now he is struggling. It's just... I will be happy with whoever she choose but also sad with whoever she will not. And I'm gonna cry really bad if anything happens anyone of them 💔

I don't know why people would be surprised that Stancy is having a comeback. Jancy always felt like a Red Herring relationship that is supposed to break up the true love story between Nancy and Steve until they get back together. There are so many indicators throughout the seasons. Steve's steadfastly holding onto his love for Nancy is one, Robin not being a romantic option for him is another and Jonathan and Nancy being shown as not very compatible and a bad team since S3 is yet another.

Nancy and Steve were always meant to be endgame. Nancy made Steve a better person and they would of done anything for eachother.

I like Jonathan and understand that he’s going through a lot but I don’t think he and Nancy are compatible anymore he is holding her back even if he isn’t doing it willingly that’s just who they are and that’s okay. Steve makes her laugh and pushes her out of her comfort zone, I’m not saying you should try to change a person but Nancy needed a little push in s1 to have more fun in her teenager life and he did it. He still was young and needed to grow up and acted like a jackass back then but he did evolve and in my opinion he didn’t suddenly change in s4 so that the duffer brothers could bring back stancy, no, he started to change as he said in s4 the Minute Nancy broke his heart (and I don’t mean to call out Nancy in any way, Steve wasn’t ready for her and she simply fell in love with Jonathan). He helped Dustin out and very fast evolved in his role as a babysitter. And to all ppl saying that his dream of a big family doesn’t fit with Nancy’s dream of a career, I mean I know she’d have to carry all the children but she never seemed to never wanting any and Steve would be more than willing to to be a stay at home dad when Nancy could peruse her carrier? What i think is that in the end Jonathan will choose to protect and be with his family and will ultimately leave nancy for her own good and our steve Harrington will choose nancy will protect her by risking his life and nancy will be with him ❤❤

My prediction is that Nancy is going to die saving Steve, now let me explain my logic. So this season they have obviously been bringing back Steve and Nancy’s chemistry, which many people assume is because they are trying to make an upcoming death more dramatic and emotional. Most people think it’s Steve that’s going to die, but it’s Stranger Things, they’re not that predictable. They aren’t going to show clips of Steve looking like he’s going to die in the trailer of a season where Steve actually does die. Like with the 001/Vecna twist, no one saw that coming, and it was for sure not hinted at in the trailer. Steve is in danger though, as we know from the demobat bites, which could connect him to the upside down, but he is not going to die from this, this is going to be what Nancy tries to save him from. Here’s why they would give a heroic death scene to Nancy: Every season they bring up Barb’s death somehow, even though she was barely in the show and had little substance as a character. This is because of the guilt that Nancy feels for thinking she caused the death of a friend. Most recently, when Nancy becomes possessed by Vecna right at the end of episode 7, she has visions of Barb again and is confronted by Vecna about how she caused the death. I just know that the writers are going to give her a redemption arc, and when she sees Steve in danger with the upside down, she is not going to sit back this time, she is going to save him. We already saw how she’d do anything for him, since she jumped in the water when Steve was sucked into the gate. Now Nancy and Steve’s entire story lines are going to come together in a dramatic death scene where, right when the audience thinks that Steve is going to die in the upside down, Nancy comes in and saves his life by sacrificing hers. And then, when everyone is waiting anxiously on the other side, Steve has to come back bringing Nancy’s body and everyone cries and hugs each other, because it is finally over, but at the loss of someone very special.
