Rob Thomas is one of modern music’s most compelling and commercially successful artists. For twenty years, he has been the frontman and primary composer for alternative rock band Matchbox Twenty, leading the quintet to multiplatinum success over the course of four albums and hits that include “Push,” “3AM,” “Bent,” “If You’re Gone,” and “Unwell.”

Thomas’ first solo albums, 2005’s platinum-certified #1 album ‘Something To Be’ and 2009’s ‘cradlesong’ generated the hit singles “Lonely No More,” “This is How A Heart Breaks,” “Her Diamonds” and “Someday. ’Something to Be’ became the first album by a male artist from a rock/pop group to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 since the chart had debuted. With ‘cradlesong’, he made history once again as the only male artist with multiple #1 hits at Adult Top 40, with most #1s by a solo male artist in the chart’s history. Thomas released his 3rd solo album ‘The Great Unknown' in 2015.

I remember when Unwell was released and when I grew older it became my favorite. I have depression and anxiety, so it hits hard and made realize that there's people like me out there. Even with my autism, I see that there's better days and with this song I know I'll be alright. Thank you Rob Thomas, Kiiara, and Steve Aoki for this song, love it and it makes me smile on my darkest days.

I love his sweet little adorable dog sleeping with him on the couch..precious. I have loved this man’s talent since one of his first concerts in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Have tickets for the postponed one in Vancouver and will hold onto them for as long as it takes….There is nothing I want more than to see him in concert, at least, one more time. @Lisa i came across this and the original song just recently, which happens to to be at the perfect time. been hit with another bout of fairly severe depression/anxiety that has rattled my life for a year, and i'm potentially really close to actually getting better. i had mental health disorders from when i was 8, so i know what you mean. nice to know that i'm not the only weirdo :)

Love this!! As someone that battles depression on the daily this really hits home!! I've actually been told get over it it's all in your head by ppl that have never experienced it or don't understand now I just think I'm glad for u that u have never dealt with anxiety or depression and I pray these same ppl never do. I love Rob Thomas. I think is a musical genius. So many of his songs bring out emotions for me. This one does in particular as I have a chronic kidney disease that’s a chronic pain condition with no cure.the love he has for his wife is obvious in his music
