Caradoc g I don't think Avicii match with Pop. I mean, Avicii was one of the guys that make EDM what EDM means you know. To 2008 to 2015 people was crazy and excited about Avicii Tiesto or Armin live sets and music. Avicii was truly a living legend of electronic and music in general, he couldn't be replaced by other.
This hits me hard because i first discovered Avicii back in 2013.. his song "Levels" was a world opening experience for me.. it got me hooked and a fan of him.. Thank you, Avicii.. your music and influence will always be remembered in our hearts..
I’m so heartbroken because, I discovered AVICII in 2011 when he was getting famous and honestly the progress in his music is amazing. He made music that I genuinely liked that when I was sad I could escape all the problems just for a few mins and listen to his amazing music. We lost the most influential Artist and it sucks. I never got to go to his concerts, I longed to go. May this legend and his beautiful soul Rest In Peace.

I remember listening to Avicii back in high school. He brings back so many happy memories. I will forever be thankful to this man as he is the reason I fell in love with EDM. RIP Tim! You will be missed but never will be forgotten 💕💘

I first left my home country for the first time traveling the world and Avicii changed me. The song -Wake me Up- changed my perspective on travel and EDM and my life. I will miss him but his music will live forever. I will celebrate his music till I die. I will never ever forget.

1. I really love his ability to speak through music, he brought edm to the broad audience. 2. All the interviews Ive watched, seem like a good and troubled person, 3. and the documentary: avicii: true stories. 4. His openness concerning his demons during his fame and the pressure he felt to allways preform 100 percent (Id say 200, at least). 5. His lyrics which often rotates around his world view. 6. Last, but first; the image I got of his personality. Thank u, Tim Bergling aka Avicii; U gave so much to so many. Ull be sorely missed.
People don't want to believe it. Makes me sic that he's gone at a young age. I don't know what it is to slip and not come out of it. The battle is the only battle. You will surely be missed. You go avicci. You rock dude.

Nobody can say for sure, but they probably get the majority of it, yes. You can't forget about featured artists, the manager & the production team, though. They probably all get their fair share.
We were using the term EDM in the early 2000's all around the Wash DC area when I was producing house music so not sure why Steve says the term EDM is only 10 years old
