@@jeffg.3250 yes sir… couldnt agree more. Once Jackie left that was it. But man what a run in the late 80’s into late 90’s. From the channel 9 show to the E show, those were the best
You can tell when Howard was talking to the kid about his dad, leaving him and his mom . That death stare Stone cold gave Howard said it All he wasn't having none of it.
@@adamclark9004 he did 2-3 in this era then came back when he made that movie that flopped in 2007, condemned that was it. Howard was so mean here. lol
When Stone Cold was at its peak and you truly had to be in an arena and hear how deafening it was and still is when his music hit!! Before and since then there been nothing like it... Truly the Most Popular Superstar in the history of professional wrestling
@@joepowell7637 I was at Wrestlemania 15 & Vengeance in 2001. The difference in shift of the pops in just 2-3 years was pretty wild. When it comes to pops: Stone Cold '97-'99 = The Rock '00-'02.
@@adamstime Yeah it's not even funny sometimes it's just plain asshole. And I love dark humor but come on man. Especially talking to that kid wishing Stone Cold was good s dad.
Stone Cold Steve Austin Chyna Mankind Hulk Hogan Triple Hunter Diamond Dallas Page Torrie Wilson Sable John Cena Rock Goldust Nicole Bass Stephanie Levesque Big Show & Stacy Keibler have guest starred
8:31 if she lived next door to Vince/Shane McMahon she’s probably either got money herself or her parents are rich and will get than money in the future. You don’t live in a house in the same street as the McMahons if you don’t have any money, it’s gotta be a prestigious/exclusive neighbourhood
Interestingly, the only marriage that stuck for Steve was his current one, years after he left the business. Wrestlers cannot control themselves on the road, and no wonder - temptation everywhere
That and they are never home..only off like 60 days out of the year. So If your wife doesn't get much attention at home she going to find it somewhere else.
his wife now is hideous, she's got that sunken in upper lip like john elway, and she was just a nothing preschool teacher, talk about hitting the lottery, idk wth steve is doing, to say he's slumming it is an understatement, to say she is average at best is a compliment, and an inaccurate one at that
@@aminakamran6969 not sure if "lost it" is the right words. I think just...back in the day, these interviews were allowed to have no chill whatsoever. It was a fun environment, literally anything went on this show and it was great because of its authenticity and how explicit and true it was. Nowadays, everything is alot more censored, less offensive, everyone's walking on thin ice..lots of ppl including Howard can no longer be as brash or blunt Nowadays obviously
@@masonjones1812 but he didn't care before he made it big. He was getting fired all the time because of what he said. He said it anyway. What happened to that Howard?
Howard knows so little about so much. If he didn't have notes handed to him(notes that seem to usually be full of incorrect information) then his knowledge would not go further than his own nose. It is always great seeing wrestlers from that era as guests on other shows. Quite a few wrestlers have appeared on the Stern Show over the years. Austin, Triple H, Rock, Big Show, Mick Foley, Booker T, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Goldust, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Kurt Angle, Hogan, Chris Kanyon, Ric Flair(phone call), Iron Sheik, Sable, Torie Wilson, Stacey Kiebler, Trish Stratus and I'm sure I have missed a few out?
Very good list. Rick Rude was also on back in '93, with Fred the Elephant Boy. And Jerry Lawler called in once during the publicity stunt with the filming of the Andy Kaufman movie.
@Jeff G. Wow, I never knew Rick Rude appeared on the Stern Show. Thanks for that. I will definitely check it out and see if I can find it. Do you remember what he was promoting or why he was on the show? Rick was in WCW in 1993 right?
And actually I never knew Lawler was on the show either. Did Howard Stern make a big deal out of the Lawler/Kaufman thing? I always wondered about that because it WAS a big deal at the time and Kaufman was a New York legend, Stern was a legendary New York radio guy so it makes sense that he would at least mention it.
@@poppycock31185 It's on RU-vid. Search "Rick Rude Howard Stern." From what I recall, Rude said very little and it was mostly Howard and Fred talking. Yes he was in WCW at the time and I think he was just promoting a house show since he was in NY.
More cringe than cool for sure. Just the sexual harassment on Austin’s assistant/publicist, who’s McMahon by marriage. Then fat-shaming an average kid. 😬
people look so different when they are younger and you can tell they are driven by ego alone.... nowadays Stone Cold looks and sounds like a more mature, centered... "better" person.... this guy on the Stern show looks like he is full of himself, the Stone Cold of today looks like a person who would be extremely interesting to talk to and get to know.... not this guy on this video
I dont think Austin was ever legitimately "full of himself" outside of a wrestling arena. He doesnt sound that arrogant to me. Howard tried to pull arrogance out of him and here and there it seeped through but he held his own. You never hear stories of how unlikable he was. Members of the Kliq on the other hand...
So what if his ex DID give a call? Isn't this still America? Don't we still have that thing called FREEDOM OF SPEECH? I saw nothing wrong with Steve exercising his 1st Amendment Right. Just saying.
Lesson learned here: if you decide marriage is in your future, get that prenup! And also get a postnup that gets updated periodically! Marriage is a legal contract at its core.
"you're a brown belt in your pants" lmao 🤣 ... that was too perfect to be spontaneous, the guy had to have been a plant, he was too cocky, with a perfect line for an even more perfect setup, all the makings of one of his flunkies in a scripted bit, but still funny
Could you imagine him asking that kid to take his clothes off in this day and age?! 🙈🤣 he'd be cancelled immediately. This segment was absolute gold. Loved how awesome Stone Cold looked when he's sat forced needing to watch a kid strip to his vest 🤣🙈
