NOTICE: I'm moving my videos out of RU-vid, as RU-vid has become a criminally-censorious zionist shithole. I've deleted all my other YT videos, but I have left this one Steve Biko video up for you for the duration of this channel's existence. This whole channel will probably soon be deleted by RU-vid. However, you can still see this same video here: archive.org/details/SteveBikoSpeaksOnTheBlackConsciousnessMovement

This interview shows how misinformed Steven Biko was - like most marxist revolutionaries he thought he was fighting for freedom. But he confessed here that it was a 'socialist' system that South Africa would inherit. Socialism is a tyrannical system that hides its true intentions behind 'equality' - a subversion of individual rights in the interest of the banks who finance it. Look at South Africa today. Some victory.

I think this speaks to our education systems. Although oppressed. The education given to our freedom fighters allowed them to think about things from a perspective greater than their own. What our education system is doing now is teaching us not to survive but to depend. That combined with the vanity taught by social media shows us why we have the society we have right now in South Africa.

Much appreciated, Terry. I was a teenager when he was killed, and the subsequent tension in the Townships...June 16 1976, nothing went back to normal. It's the late, Steve Biko's and others who were brutally murdered (first victims of June 16) in my neighborhood and the entire country, which made us to pick up the Spear and move forward. What an honour, to listen to his voice and views. Merci🙏

Articulate, high level clarity of vision, simple but profound messaging truly a mark of a dynamic leader. It is illuminating how Western Leaders have eliminated all if not most revolutionary leaders who were grounded in the philosophy of change, revolutionary change! Biko is in that mould....Sankara, Lumumba, Amilcar Cabral, Chris Hani, Che, etc killed for their ideas and effective methods of transforming society...Clive Mtshisa

Black Consciousness should be about changing the consciousness of our people to think from within to create the type of conditions we want for our people. The way to do that is to change the mass consciousness of our people so that we have a more positive outlook on our present and future. As individuals we create our reality so the same holds true of a collective. We think from within. Let's change our collective internal thoughts.

Steve Biko is turning in his grave. The ANC in itself has corrupted its purpose. Biko was not killed because he was a violent-racist threat, he was executed because he was free and that freedom was a threat. South Africa would be a different place-if Steve Biko had lived on.
