Stars Steve Carell, Timothée Chalamet, Amy Ryan, and director Felix Van Groenigan visit the IMDb at TIFF, Presented by Land Rover, to explain the challenges and rewards of shooting the true-to-life scenes from their family drama.
I love how interviewer reassures Timmy that he didn’t do anything wrong since he always apologizes for talking “too much”. In my opinion, that’s better than not been in the moment and answering with a really short sentence or not answering at all.
I am absolutely in love with Timothee Chalamet. His looks, his personality, his spirit, his everything. I have a feeling that he is the Leonardo DiCaprio of this generation!
No no no I don’t think we can compare his talent. He is the first Timothée Chalamet and is paving a new road for this art which he is so passionate about
young male beauty doesn't need styling, make-up, designer clothes, gym routines -- that's what's so wonderful about it! -- it's inner glow that shows up as simple and radiant, eyes, manner, smile, hands -- really stunning
While I won't deny his attractiveness, he still has a team of stylists that are responsible for how he looks on camera but I agree with the gym routines bit
@@e_lena9656 Thank you E_Lena for the clarifying point. To say - or suggest - that Timothee relies on "stylists" to produce his stellar persona is insulting. He sits here in this interview in the most understated and common of clothes. And yet out-shines any other young male actor I know. Timothee is very simply stunningly attractive. But detractors and sour-grapes views are inevitable.
timothee chalamet did such a great job staying off the public eye now he's hot cake and we are all here watching just for lil timmy Tim! Absence does increase value. seems he's only bright and extremely happy doing promotions alongside Armie though🙏
Yes, they were amazing, but hidden behind the star cast is Maura Tierney who also did a pretty amazing job and I think she should also get recognition for the same.
04:02 what the interviewer said Will definitely come true Timothée is now one of the biggest names of Hollywood He's going in the place of Masters of Cinema ❤
I read Nic’s book 13 years ago, shortly after it came out. I had wanted to learn more addiction because of what was going on in my family. Nic’s story is deeply sad and yet hopeful and beautiful in its unflinching honesty. The movie equally sad and beautiful in its graphic depiction of his addiction and his father’s unrelenting love and attempts to save him. Timmy Tim and Steve did an amazing job bringing Nic and his father’s story to the screen. Thank you Nic and David Sheff for sharing your stories with the world. It has helped a lot of people going through addiction.
When I saw the preview I thought holy shit Micheal & Holly Yasss then I saw it after no really paying attention to the preview an I was crying this is a really great movie I was just hoping Nick didn’t die in real life
