This song brings back some bad memories. A bad woman, the urge for revenge, the choice to shut that door and move on. After some time, I couldn't even remember what she looked like! How true it is: When one door closes, another opens. Like gravity, a law of the universe.

Saw Steve Earle couple months ago- GREAT show. He played this too, awesome.

This great version has been on my rotation for years. And I always get a kick showing my wife "that's Bill Gates on drums and Anderson Cooper (CNN) on guitar" Back to serious, Another great cover of "Joe" is a local band "Don't Scare the Dog" playing "Hey, Joe". Not a great recording, from a cell phone, but it's awesome on all levels it's on RU-vid.
