The reason why Hackett is so beloved and respected, because he stays true to his music and classics. While everyone does music today and avoids their past material. Hackett also, is a true English gent.
wrong ! Steve Hackett composed many longue Plage of Progressive Music with many instruments Claassical compositions no others do this , forget it ! JUST listen Albums solo with others of Genesis , nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a fans of Genesis since 75,this song is from the A trick of the tail album,....very very nice to hear it in another arrangement with big concert...great vocal....good job!
Having the orchestra play the organ background melody in the middle part (🎶 On your left, and on your right...🎵) sounds fantastic. It is played in two octaves, which bring the melody forward in the mix in a great way. To Genesis tribute band keyboardists out there, please try playing this section with and “octave patch”, or whatever it’s called, that adds an octave.
This is awesome! How refreshing it is to hear this and the other videos from this extraordinary concert in Reykjavik, Iceland. It's not easy to perform this material with full symphonic orchestra and choir. It's amazing how well you all perform it. Congratulations! It's been a pleasure following you on this project. I'm really looking forward to the next release. Will it be a DVD from this concert with Steve Hackett? I'll buy one copy!👍🏼😊
This is my 6th Todmobile video in a row. As a lifelong fan of Genesis, I have the orchestrated version of Genesis on a CD, even with Steve playing on guitar. I've also heard my share of orchestrated prog epics, but I've always felt something is lacking in the combination--and even sometimes in the way the orchestra slavishly follows the original instrumentation, without delving into some of the different dynamics that an orchestra is capable of. I think you've got that problem solved. It's great to hear much the same rock instrumentation, but backed by re-interpretive arrangement, that just gets how to deepen the arrangement and create an even lusher atmosphere.

First Jon Anderson, then Steve Hackett, next... I'd love John Wetton or maybe Eddie Jobson with some King Crimson/UK. But since that may be unlikely to happen (same with gentle giant), you could also go with ELP (Tarkus and Knife Edge especially) or what I would love is a memorial performance of Chris Squire's Fish out of Water.
Steve Hackett Genesis 2.0 merci Steve , and Live !!!!!!!
