I think Shirley was definitely right with her statements..... If the man who wrote this letter actually did something wrong that caused the engagement to end? There would be NO LETTER! Consider this - if a man lost the woman he loved and wanted to marry because of something he did.....and she came back? There's nothing to think about! He's happy and ready to give that love another chance. Her moving on and having a child is something he knows he helped happen IF HE MESSED UP AND CAUSED HER TO LEAVE..... Again, Shirley is right about that woman. She went out and thought she could do better, and now has a child by a man she doesn't want to be with or doesn't want to be with her. Now, she wants that old GOOD thing back....

Guy should move on. Too much connection with this one. She still in a relationship. End of story

I disagree that the boyfriend is not a good guy. He could very well be a great guy and she might think that he'd make a great husband and father, but he may not be as pleasing sexually as the ex- boyfriend. Women will leave a good man for good sex. I'm more inclined to agree with Shirley that he should not take her back.
