Steve and Marcy return from a terrible trip to find their house is gone!
From Married With Children, Season 3 Episode 16, 'The House That Peg Lost'. After asking the Bundys to watch their house for the day, Marcy and Steve return to find a big hole where their house once stood. It seems that Peggy had earlier that day mistakenly told a wrecking crew looking to demolish Steve's Road House and she directed them to Steve 'Rhoades' house instead. So the Rhoades are forced to spend the night at the Bundy house. Meanwhile, Kelly throws a slumber party for four of her girlfriends, but Bud ends up disrupting it and turns it into a "cat-fight" riot.

Same here I spent my childhood watching this show with my dad who passed in 2010 some of my best childhood memories with him joking to this show right here comparing me to Bud and himself to Al constantly lol... makes me tear up just typing it

The 2nd half of this episode is pure gold- Steve & Marcy sleeping in Al & Bundy's bedroom- with the latter complaining about smelling Al's feet. Kelly has her PJ party down stairs in the living room- with it being crashed by Bud- who exposed his sister dating her friends' boyfriends & they get into a fight- with him looking & smiling all the way! (Yum yum, give me some!)

Agreed!!!! My favorite episode is Santa Claus trying to parachute into a mall during the Christmas season.. When his chute doesn't open, he crashes into the Bundy's back yard. HYSTERICAL!!! During a cast reunion, a lot of them still remembered the episode, AND THEIR LINES. 🤣

@@robbase5235 They both fulfill differing roles. Jefferson is hilarious because he often encourages or goes along with Al's get rich quick schemes and suffers the consequences. Steve was funny because he was the straight man who reacted to Al's more idiotic moments with wit.

Jefferson came in only to attract female viewers, not uncommon in sitcoms. When Charlie Sheen didnt attract enough female viewers in the far most profitable age group for TV advertising (35 and below) in Anger Management they brought in that younger guy as Charlies neighbor, handsome and not very bright, much like Jefferson.

I liked both though I prefer Steve slightly. Jefferson was a hoot but he was basically Al's sidekick and was always on his side, meanwhile Steve was more judgmental/exasperated by him yet at the same he couldn't help but always end up being sucked in by Al's shenanigans. Personally, I liked the little bit of tension more.
