STEVE MARTIN'S Bird Cage Theatre Job! 

GREAT vlog. I have fond memories of many childhood visits to Knott's. Nancy is fabulous and a natural on camera (she is also my sister). LOL

Just watched the last 4 days vlogs in a row (ugghhh work). Now that's the way to start out a day!!! You brought back some great memories. My uncle and cousins lived in Cerritos (sp?) from the 70's thru the early 90's. When any nephew/niece graduated from 8th grade my uncles gift to us was 2 weeks at his house and seeing all the sights. As I am from Chicago this was the best gift possible!! Went to Knott's a couple of times that trip and the floodgates of memories just opened up with this vlog. Thanks so much!!!

I recently saw him and Martin Short in concert where I live (Portland). Oh the stories he shared. I have seen just about every currently performing popular comedian and that was the best show I have seen.

Awesome vlog today! It brought back memories of when I would visit my grandparents in San Diego every year and we'd drive up for a couple of days to do Knottsberry Farm & Disneyland. Thanks Jordan and Nancy!!

I actually saw Steve Martin perform at the Birdcage Theater in the 70s. I thought he was so funny. I still remember him saying at the end of his show to pick up any trash we saw and take it down the road to Disneyland and dump it in their parking lot

I went to the Bird Cage once in about 1973. I remember the performers at the end of the show reminding us to take our trash over to Disneyland and leaving it there. But they said it in a fun/kidding way. Magic Mountain was still in its infancy, so Disneyland was their only real competition at that time.

Great vlog - I enjoyed seeing the Bird Cage Theatre and meeting Nancy. Looking forward to seeing Part 2!

the facades were actual old west buildings from Calico area, which is also owned by the same company as KBF. Love your vlogs and Jah is always a treat...

I was just a little kid back in the early 60s but I did see a show in that theater and may have caught Steve's performance but I don't remember now. Back then admission to the park was free, there were no roller coasters, and there were these little Model T type cars with no roof you could drive slowly on a track at the south end where there's now a parking lot.

Enjoyed your vlog as always! Been many times to Knotts Berry Farm as a kid and I cant believe I didnt know about the cage theater history. Love Steve Martin.Thanks for the trip down memory lane!! Some day I shall return to LA.

I read Steve's book also, it was really good! I know your not living here anymore, but Diane Keaton grew up in Santa Ana. I have become a big fan of her work the last few years. It was very nice to meet Nancy, she seemed like a fun lady! I would like to save up and go to Knott's Berry Farm and just spend the day looking around & people watching! Hey Jordan, I live about 5minutes from the outlet. I have been to Knott's so many times. Too many to count. I have never been inside the Birdcage Theater. I will stop in next visit to the park to check it out.

hey do you feel like vloging from California to Michigan? I have a moving co. and I will be there Wednesday next week to load a truck and drive it to Michigan. All you need is your flight home and food on the way. Hotels ,gas and everything else is on me.I hate to drive alone! let me know.
