There are bands half Steve Miller's age who can't rock like this for a whole set! My only gripe is that he didn't play "I Want To Make The World Turn Around," but this show is stellar without it.
This is both a great sounding, and great looking video. As someone who during the 90's, secretly (and sometimes with difficulty) bootlegged a lot of concerts on cassettes... (currently in storage, and awaiting the right person to bequeath them to)... I appreciate anyone who takes the time and effort to preserve an artist's musical history... and share it on RU-vid. I only wish Steve Miller played more songs from his earliest albums (before he succumbed to Top 40 pop tunes)... which were truly innovative.
@justme8592 I always Loved and appreciated the way the Grateful Dead made Tapers a part of the scene... and Shared the experience. Those recordings still entertain me daily. ✌️
My how times have changed. The Dead did indeed pave the way... and now you have someone Livestreaming on RU-vid Taylor Swift's European shows. I personally am enthralled by all the quality soundboards surfacing of classic 60's & 70's artists. Thanks to Smartphones, all concerts of note are being recorded. And when you add in Tribute Bands for now defunct artists like The Doors & Pink Floyd... Music history is indeed being preserved for future generations to enjoy.
@@jdpappy5207 a bit defensive, are we? i didn't say that i didn't enjoy the video. i don't see how you could enjoy the show if you had to hold the camera and make sure it was framed property. if you had it on a tripod it would have been different. honestly, why did you bother recording? how often do you intend to watch it?
