Absolutely loved the sweet, posters of them on my bedroom walls, bought every single, got the sweet fa album for a b day present. Now of course I have cd’s of their music. My kids (aged 20 and twenty two) blast sweet out just like I did, only nowadays I have a much more powerful stereo. But altho Andy’s the only one still alive, Steve, Mick and Brian live on, rest in peace guys, your a legend xxx ♥️♥️♥️
Really good band. Seems like yesterday they where mainstream on TOTPs. They had great songs , attitude and looked like Navvies in drag ! They made unique sounds that absolutely captured the period especially Fox On The Run with the echo . It makes me cry as it is so evocative of my youth . God , life is short.
Mention 70’s music to anyone and the sweet would always be mentioned,Brian taken from us way too young,I recently bought a best of sweet cd ,I loved the seventies especially the sweet,We just haven’t got a clue what do do 🎶🎶,I could’ve sworn Steve was Welsh 🏴
Love Steve's Yorkshire accent (his mum was from there?)! Also a little glimpse of what Brian was like & why no one could get him to stop smoking without consequences!
I wish I could have heard what Steve was saying about Little Willy and Brian before the beginning of this video. It’s not at the end of part 3 either. It seems like he had more to say than this song was about Brian.
@@paulweston285 that's very judgemental and cruel. You have no idea if he had inherited medical issues like a lot of us have which is beyond our control. So STFU.
