we literally fish for carp this way in america, just without feeders.. fast break down times. our "pack bait" is molded around our hook bait and made in such a way that it can withstand a cast and then break down within a few short minutes. we use larger hooks as well. 10 and under i believe is substantial.
@@jambonwain8918 i'm glad you told me that. i just looked up a video on it. what the guy in the video was doing was pretty similar. in the US it's usually a piece of a puffed corn cereal impaled onto a hook and then old fashioned oats/cream style corn or one of the many many other pack baits are packed around the hook/bait about the size of a golfball to tennis ball size
They are still boilies they are made from same ingredients so if your fishery has banned boilies you can’t use them but some fishery’s allow you to use them on the hook only but you have to check each fishery all are different
