Tbh it’s gotta be true and both can be true. Malachi def earned everything he’ll get himself, but Steve Smith shines that golden spotlight and has built the reputation of never missing on WR’s, he definitely has solidified this man as a future NFL star in the heads of many GM’s or at least the smart ones that listen to him, but you make a good point i’ve never seen Steve miss on a guy and it’s way more impressive when they’re not consensus “top 5” guys. He’s 💯% earning them more money but really, it’s just the money/draft spot they actually deserve and earned themselves. He’s just showing you what’s already there. I’m a lifelong BUCS! fan and I can admit this dude don’t ever miss. Gotta love SSsr. It doesn’t even hurt to say it anymore lol. He’s SOOO MUCH BETTER than all the heads on TV idk how this isn’t a show on ESPN. TBH It’s a joke “Show him the moneyyyyyy!!!!” @ESPN 👀… what are they waiting for???? Like I said and I cannot stress this enough, because I have to avoid a strong bias, but it’s just too obvious,…I’m a BUCS FAN!! Keyshawn Johnson has 🚫business being on undisputed making all that money when you have Steve Smith Sr. Lookin like Nostradamus his living room on RU-vid. What world is this???
The second wave of wideouts in this draft are really something special. They block their asses off, take the extra yardage, and finish like they want to hurt somebody. Even the little ones! McCaffrey, McConkey, Roman Wilson, Xavier Legette, and Malachi all have potential to start, and they offer everything that makes for phenomenal team mates.
I could see him incorporating a “fantasy WR” segment if he was interested. Not sure if he has any genuine interest in fantasy football or not but there is definitely a massive market for it and I would certainly prioritize his evaluations on rankings and rookie prospects. Fantasy football and the actual game are not the same thing and I could see him being hesitant or avoidant to stay true to himself and the game. He was high on tank Dell and Rice last year and because of him, I made two flyer picks for them with my last picks.
I’m a panther fan born and raised here in the QC. And Steve smitty you killed it here and y’all’s content is fire. Makes me look at football in a new light.
They should take him he’s going to be tough to bring down that’s a big part of what Puka Nacua did for the rams fight for extra yardage after every catch this guy seems like a dawg
Steve Smith is not only one of the greatest WRs ever, but he knows the game as good as anyone. I loved Malachi but this confirms it for me. Someone is getting a huge discount on him.
It’s surprising how important interviews like this are. His answers were all perfect to a lot of concerns about his play. Talks like this to GMs is what increases your stock. Impressive and excited to see how he does at the combine
Kid’s a beast. I know it’s lofty territory but the Deebo comparisons absolutely make sense. Explosive, so damn physical, great vision, nice hands and plays with a joyousness that is contagious. Needs to get more refined in his route running but he has the physical tools to do that. Might actually be a little bit of a looser, more flexible athlete than Deebo in his lower body.
Thank you man for the knowledge, appreciate your insight heavy about Wide Receiver Prospects every year, you are the goat! This guy is the steal of the draft and could be available in dynasty drafts in the 2nd maybe even third round thats insane sounds like the next Puka Nacua
Malachi Corley is currently my WR4. In my eyes he’s a first round talent. I think he just needs the right situation, because any player will be a bust if they go to a team that doesn’t know how to use them
I can't think of anybody that's had as good of a track record scouting wide receivers as Steve. The fact that he knew Cooper kupp would be a star when nobody else had even heard of him says enough to me
As a Jacksonville fan, I wish the Jags would hire Mr Steve Smith Sr as a recruiter. Amazing person Awsome player. I remember watching him in college at Utah. Great show, gentlemen.
Hahahaha I had no idea how damn funny Steve Smith is. I always loved him as a player and his character as a person off the field…but I’m hitting subscribe. Well done gents
Love you 89, but one request: could you get a program to point to the receiver before the play starts, so we know what we're looking at from the get-go? Thanks for the breakdowns.
I heard "physical," "yards after catch," and "blocking" and with all the talk about Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel and whatnot, i feel like this is the exact kinda guy my niners would love to have if we feel like we're not gonna be able to keep both! He looks like an absolute DAWG who would fit right in
Reading up, as a Jets fan I'm getting HYPED!! Makes the first round pick look really great too. I wasn't down on it because I see a 10 year starter that was the top OL in many drafts. But getting this guy makes it perfect.
If anybody is listening to the video from what Steve Smith is saying. This is why Brad Holmes general manager of the Detroit Lions is going to draft Malachi corley. He'd rather get a player that he can sit under his umbrella for 4 years that can impact his team. Then to spend 100 million dollars on a player who may not even come close to the draft picks that he's picking up. One Pride baby! 🦁🏈
Just do cone drills after you’re tired bro !!! You’ll keep running fast when you’re tired ! You’re explosive ! Get that depth in the 2nd level bro! Can’t wait to see you ball out !!! ‼️
Steve Smith is the truth and I hope and pray that all these young prospects take his football knowledge and suck it up like a sponge cause trust and believe he knows what he’s talking about! Don’t get in your feelings when he says something that you don’t agree with look at it as him trying to help your game reach the next level!
Hey lemme say this! Ravens need to really look at this guy to add to the weapons for Lamar! YAC is so needed in the playoffs and against great defenses!
He’s good but he’s not what the Ravens need right now they need Bigger Wide Receiver like Legette, Mitchell or Brian Thomas Jr than late round receiver like Tahj Washington or Jermaine Burton.
@@christiansmith1895 but to me they have two all word TEs. Likely is much more mobile than Andrews and is almost built like a big body WR. I think bcuz there isn’t much trust with Lamar and Bateman. A YAC WR would be solid and different to what he has
@@IamAndreThompson it’s not just that with Lamar and Bateman they never built chemistry, when Lamar was working with the receivers and tight ends in the offseason Bateman was still rehabbing his injury. While having Two tight ends can work well you still need A reliable receiver that can work well on the outside. Ravens tallest receiver is 6’1 Bate who is A primary route runner, The ravens have there Devonta smith now they need there Aj Brown.
Being a 42 year old Bears fan, I hate going up against you guys. And you in particular! Always whooped us. Great games though! Looking back, Steve you were my favorite player ever non- Bears. Much respects;) bad ass !!✌🏼
Malachi is goin to be top 5 Wr. He working out at aspirations to👀 Wandale Robinson rondale Moore, Nate Hobbs. List goes on and on. He is gonna shock others not me tho
He's got the right mentality check that makes a lot of good checks. If he falls far enough in the draft, he'd be a scary edition to the Bengals. He's prolly going a little early for the Bengals we need the trenches BPA anything is possible. His traits fit nice though
Depends on what you call a steal. He probably goes late 2nd- early 3rd so if he turns into a wr 1 while being drafted in that range I’d call it a steal.
@danmcgregor7023 very prescient. I'm a Jets fan and I'm elated!! We essentially traded zach wilson to get this kid, so if it pans out, I would consider him an absolute STEAL. Makes the Jets look like they finally got the GM right and that also adds to the potential impact of this pick. Jets have had 3-4 SCARY GOOD drafts in a row and I'm believin' Corley is also gonna be the prototype for the new kickoff rules.
I know y’all are going to get to more of these players but have yall heard about Xavier Washington outta Virginia? He’s in the draft to keep it simple he’s like a smaller AJ Brown. He catches almost every pass thrown to em. Could be a stealllll for a team
