They get a lot worse than what we've heard. I've heard a scammer threatened to have the baiter's children arrested. I've heard a couple of the refund scammers say that they were going to commit suicide if they didn't get the money. One of these fools was pretending to be on a balcony and ready to jump. It took less than a half second for him to talk in a normal tone of voice even though he was supposed just contemplating suicide. These animals are unbelievably evil.

When the Steve Watson yells "MISS EDIT" so loudly when he thinks he hears her in the background .... after he told Carl his favorite basketball team in the Seattle Washington DC was the Supersonics and Ray Allen was his favorite basketball player for the Supersonics he got this sliver of hope when he heard little miss Edit in the background ....... and he literally YELLS MISS EDIT!!! Kills me every damn time I hear it!! So good!!
Steve ended up with quite the Excedrin headache after this one. The only truthful thing he said was at the very end: "I'm not feeling well." I believe that was 100% true.
That was great! The scammer is beyond scared of the grandson! You had him one the ropes big time. LOL He had no idea what was happening to him and that was fantastic. He must have had nightmares for a week!!

I swear they say this so much! It's as bad as "do one thing" or "grab a piece of pen and a pepper"!! It is one of their more annoying habits because it is obvious they aren't paying any attention to what the victim is saying and they are just laser focused on their script and/or stealing that money!
I run a small business and it takes 3 seconds to refund someone and I dont even need to talk to them. If I kept them on the phone 30min for a refund I would hope theyd know it was not legit wtf

yes it is already happening I receive inbound scam calls now on 1 of my numbers. When this happens i share the number to Nigella so he can get the numbers out to other scambaiters.

This is so great, you can clearly hear the frustration and desperation as he yells, "MISS EDIT?!" "ARE YOU DARE?!" Every time I think the scammer is going to give up, Grandma comes back and saves the day, and manages to waste more time than seems humanly possible.

Your "Edith" is scarily genuine. Elderly people with failing cognitive abilities will latch onto an idea and just keep repeating it over and over. And the good cop/bad cop approach with her grandson was genius! Keep up the good work.
