Steven Adler is an Angel 😇 He really is!! He has so much to offer this world 🌎 Especially in the Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation world where so many suffer...he has a kind heart💕 ...and I'm afraid others will take his kindness for granted. Also precious, Steven Adler ain't no dummy❤ He has seen the Ups and Downs, Good and the Bad. He's really seen it all....even if that included almost losing his own life to drug alcohol abuse. Thank God it didn't and that he's still here Rocking and Rolling. ..Steven suffered a few set backs from , being removed from band, which was a devastated traumatizing
Wow the talent that these men had was beyond any Talent of this day and age absolutely incredible how music has changed and there is no real music anymore there's no real poetry in music anymore like this
Translation: Erin Everly was the daughter of one of the Everly Bros and Axl's girlfriend at the time. He wrote the song about her and she appears in the music video. The song was the band's breakthrough hit.
Too bad it was actually Axl that heard it and told Slash to play it again. slash was just turning up when A k heard it. Sorry Steven love ya but come on!!
He’s insecure so he has to lie about doing more than he did. Duff and Izzy actually were responsible for stevens drum sound too, they told him what to play and what equipment to use. he began as a metal drummer and became a punk rock drummer.
Yeah not quite how it happened according to the rest of the band. Slash recalls him and Izzy were noodling around while Axl was listening upstairs writing lyrics. Slash didn't want to record it unless he got the solo at the change.
Fun fact, the woman who he is talking about was Axl's wife and one night when she was passed out, Steven shot her up with a speedball and put her in a coma for a few days. If that happened now, he would have gone to prison.
Seriously? I get partying and getting high and even struggling with substance abuse, but shooting up a nonconsenting sleeping person with a speedball is crazy! Is that really true? Where did you hear that from?
Slash said axl is the one who liked the song and wrote lyrics to it while they were messing around in the studio I love Steven but I doubt he gave much input
@@magnusjmvc8895 Thanks for that. Just checked:" In 1996, Adler suffered a stroke and was briefly comatose after taking a particularly potent speedball-a cocktail of heroin and cocaine used intravenously" He's lucky he's here to talk at all. I'm reading Slash's autobiography, and it's amazing that any of them are alive!
@@simon4043It truly is miraculous and a testament to the human spirit that the GnR guys are all still alive. Slash's heart, Duff's pancreas, Axl's drama queen diva mood swings. Poor Steven tho, he makes me sad, he let the drugs win. That's crazy he had his stroke in 96! I assumed it was much later in his life, he was still so young in 96. My heart goes out to anyone struggling with addiction, I can't imagine choosing drugs over being in one of the coolest rock n roll bands ever... I also can't imagine using so much that I had a fucking stroke! Just crazy.
