@@nyharod I'm not trying to be insensitive to anyone here but I think you both have points. HOWEVER one of my best friends is a fitness trainer that won't just eat something normal and I know another one that eats whatever he wants and they're BOTH in fantastic shape. Not everyone's body is the same but I feel like a lot of people that are super into fitness are going so hard they refuse to let themselves enjoy something small when in reality it wouldn't even hurt them. Still entirely their choice, I wouldn't call them "lame", but it is a weird psychological phenomena.
The one thing I wish you said to jidion, is that the difference between what he did, and what Daryl Davis did, is that Daryl didn't write a book or go on Joe Rogan until years later, after he already changed people's minds, and focused on the positive aspects. Whereas Jidion just let a random racist guy speak to a large audience uncontested and posted it immediately. Theres a big difference there.
@dance 100 well said, it seemed like Jidion was trying to say the right things and play both sides. He was trying to get clout off right wing content and got called out, and he got defensive. And like others have said, hes young so I cut him a bit of slack, but comparing himself to Daryl Davis just made it look even worse.
Im so here for the few moments when Ethan and Hasan merge closer to each other but from our view it looks as if they've collided into each other or are overlapping. Idk why but these little moments are just the cherry on top for me. 😆 Also, the crew only adds to every show on H3. They're only positive reinforcements. I loved that we saw them more in this episode than previous ones, where we've mainly only seen bits and pieces of Dan and maybe Sam. I hope they'll be more present going forward. (I was recently saying this about cam specifically, after he was a lot more active 2 episodes in a row. It was great to see his personality come out more strongly and to see him have his couple moments in the spotlight. I love love love Ethan and Hila and I love love love Hasan, but the dynamic the crew adds to these shows is irreplaceable.
Especially when it gets to ads! I remember the first handful of episodes, he didn't even participate bc he was too uncomfortable doing it/not used to it. I haven't watched since it started and this episode is such a change
On the risk of sounding parasocial lmao I honestly think this podcast is good for hasan cause it gets him out of the house and away from streaming; I know he’s ranted many of times how streaming is his life literally all day every day. It’s gotta feel nice to just be able to sit down with your friend and bullshit with him for like an hour and just have fun.

Cats are very good teachers of consent. Their bodies are covered with whiskers, so even if they like the pets for a while, too much can literally make them statically charged, then they will swipe you to tell you to stop. Often there are other indications it is going too far before that point that you can learn to notice and stop engaging before they swipe at you. It's also important to let them sniff your hands as an introduction instead of going straight into a pet, even if they have known you for years. Jackson Galaxy is a great creator and on mainstream channels like Animal Planet as an experienced cat daddy and cat behaviorist. Cats are kind of opposite to dogs in how they tick, but it doesn't make them less loving or wonderful. It's literally a different beast, and I am proud to say my own husband, though he still prefers dogs, has become a wonderful cat daddy the last few years while getting to know my two cats and bonding with them. Having your own cat and learning how they tick is a great way to appreciate and understand them better.

When I was 12 I was in Cadets and had to go to “summer training” and one of the activities we had to do was camping and they gave us the military rations they use in the Canadian Military and I have never gotten food poisoning so fast! I ended up in the medical wing for three days because of it. It was HORRIBLE!!

The one in your garage was probably partially feral because it had been abandoned (by the prior owner) and your roommate was not cleaning the litterbox properly. Or that cat had a health issue that wasn't getting addressed. That's why it was probably peeing in your room. Once they start, it's really hard to get them to stop. It's not that deep fam, honestly, let's just love all fur babies.

As an expat who lives in China and moved here during the pandemic, I can answer any questions you may have about how they are actually handling it. For the most part, covid testing and masks are just a part of my everyday life and I’m fine with it. There are some very hard policies, some specifically towards expats as well. Nonetheless, I love living in China and hope to spend a few more years here!
i took in a rescue cat and ended up getting sick with toxoplasmosis. i was pretty sick but basically just had to go in and get a shot and was fine the cat ended up dying. not sure if it was connected. but for years i avoided cats and didn't see why people liked them so much.. untill.. this last year my partner and i adopted a cat from a rescue. she came with some issues and traums. we worked with her relentlessly. we spent hours laying on the floor with her. she is now so loving and perfect. she is my shadow, where I go she goes. she loves head pets and booty scratches. sleeps with me every night, she is a sweet girl. now I understand that connection a cat can bring. just like any pet, they all have different quarks and attitudes. i love dogs but definitely have encountered dogs i didnt like. cats are not all that bad
The fact that hasan is so stressed over the calories he consumes that he refuses to take one bite of a papa bowl for the bit is like super sad. Does not seem like a healthy relationship with food to me Edit: he obviously doesn’t have to eat anything he doesn’t want to and he shouldn’t be forced to but my point is that his explanation for why he wouldn’t eat it sounds like a super unhealthy and disordered relationship with food.
I agree. I've battled with my weight my entire weight but I'm 5'2 so to lose weight I have to eat like tiny portions. For a man of Hassan's stature who also lifts weights, who can lose weight on over 2,000 calories, it doesnt seem necessary to count so rigidly. He could just eat healthy wholesome fresh food without white carbs and stay in great shape

Not all cat owners have toxoplasmosis, my cat gets regularly vaccinated, plus I've been tested multiple times because doctors suspect it's the first thing you have if you're sick AND make the mistake of telling them you have a cat.😹 We're stigmatized I tell you... But it's ok Ethan, I forgive you cause you're too damn funny 😹😹😹😹
