I still don't really understand Pink/Rose's rebellion. Yes, she needed to give the diamonds an excuse to not colonize Earth via the rebellion... but why stay as Rose Quartz when she could do more damage as a Diamond? She could use her own army that she was making against homeworld rather than basically fight an army pinned against her BY HER! It wanted so many gems, time, and resources.
