Throughout the Steven Universe series, we as the audience have gathered more and more information about Homeworld. One thing this show is known for doing, is taking the big bad antagonists and humanizing them so we have a greater understanding of their motives. This happened with Lapis, Peridot, and even Jasper. But what were Pink Diamond's motives exactly? Who was she as a gem? In this video I not only discuss this, but also why Earth was Pink Diamond's first and only colony, as well as why Earth was such a valuable planet to begin with.
