STEVENSON UNIVERSITY | college day in my life ♡ 

Not weird at all! Stevenson is a really good school. Academically speaking, a lot of the professors and staff are determined to have their students succeed. As a psychology major, I feel very prepared for my next steps! Most people here are very school focused, and it's a quiet campus most times so you'll never feel distracted when trying to study in the library or wherever. I will say socially Stevenson is lacking, but it's gotten a lot better lately with different events to do and the new additions they're putting on campus to increase student engagement (We just got a Coffee House last year which sells Starbucks items, there are open mic nights held there as well) It's also a really safe campus too. It definitely is really expensive though, sometimes I felt that I paid too much. However, I got a lot out of my experience here. Diversity is also steadily improving with the advertisement of more culturally diverse events, but more can be done to increase awareness and inclusion, to be honest. Lol i know that was pretty long, but i wanted to make sure you got a good picture. Feel free to ask more questions! :)

Hi Camella! I wouldn’t say work study is guaranteed, I think it really depends on your financial aid. They should let you know in your financial reward letter. When it comes to getting a job on campus, I highly recommend that you apply early, so if you trying to get a job before the school year starts, check the SU jobs website and apply in the summer. They update semi often so I would check periodically. If you couldn’t get a job in the fall semester and need one for spring, apply over the winter break. This is very very late and you probably received your answer already but when I was there the gym was only work study. It may have changed now!
