She was about 37/38 years old here, I believe and still looked like she could pass for being ten years younger. All things considered, she really aged incredibly well. Even today, she’s still lovely.

Poor Stevie. I can tell she is heavily under some kind of influence, but she made it back better than ever. She's the kind of person I wouldn't mind telling my deepest secrets to.

Even though she is clearly wasted on coke and in a dark place, her eyes are sad, but even still she is warm funny and eloquent. Absolutely adore her. I could listen to her speak for hours let alone sing

Seriously she is like the champion of interviews, I mean she could pull herself together in an instant and just get through it. She's a lot tougher than some people give her credit for!

Poor Stevie :( her drug use was at its worse here- Fleetwood Mac broke up for a bit during this time and she was incredibly depressed-she just broke up with a relationship she had for three years and after all that she still got through it and put her head up high-so proud of her

Stevie may have been in a tough, transitional time during 1985-1986, but Rock A Little is not only a great album, it's a surprisingly funky, at times exuberant and declamatory, and, except for Has Anyone Ever Written.... and I Sing For The Things, the record isn't that sad, on the whole, really.

Amazing. Even through all the drugs the group did through years they are all still alive and well today and putting on great shows in their late late 60s early 70s. Don't tell me God isn't real.

Stevie has got to be surrounded by people who love her enough to take care of her and pull her back from the brink. So many years she was in the tall grass but she never got swallowed by them. She’s strong and she’s a force but in the throes of substances that have the taken the lives of too many people, there had to be someone who made sure she came out from the other side. I’m grateful to her and everyone who brought Stevie back. May she always be surrounded by light and love.

PHX AZ.. Phoenix zoo 12midnight at the top hill looking at light me and my boyfriend looking at the city lights eating burgers ..zoo is closed but she was there group of friends and could hear her talking and singing . It was really cool to see and hear her .

i took a lot of crap from people in HS during those yrs (85-87) from ppl who just couldnt stand her sound - not poppy enough or hard enough-was too lacy/frilly/witchy - but i didnt care - ive heard her sing all my life - how lucky are we who have grown up in every decade with some Stevie Nicks! she will always be my fave and im so glad she has made it this far - we've learned from the drugs - and every album has a different meaning for me, personally! Stevie fans are the best in the world!

I had gotten MTV a few months before this; I remember the wait for Rock A Little; it seemed to take forever. I also remember seeing this interview at the time. And here's the thing: The album didn't come out for another six months after this interview!

Wow, guys, I am as big a Stevie fan as can be. She herself admitted that her drug problems hurt the record. Jimmy Iovine her producer left the record in the middle of making 'Rock A little' because he was frustrated at her drug abuse. This was all in her 'Behind the Music' special back in the late 90's. Yes, drug abuse among rock stars is common but it hurts some people more than others. I love her to death, just saw her in concert last year, and she was great.

She's high as can be. Coke for sure as she has to force out her answers but her speech is choppy. Eyes clearly show too. But she got it together and survived. Everyone was doing drugs during the 80s. During her concerts, she'd take breaks after songs to snort lines in a tent they made for her on stage. It was a necessity. Rock A Little..

you can tell from the beginning that she has a cocaine problem. Starting from the time she says "yes I guess so"... when you take cocaine you just stop caring

I think the media today with reality shows, social websites like YT, FB, Twitter, etc. I dont think it's necessary or apropriate for ppl to film what their doing 24 hours even if it's with their permission blessing and whether it's little or no money. There's only so much we ppl should and should not see on TV. She's a singer, we want to hear her pour her heart out ONLY in music.

After waiting for years, I was so excited for the release of the record. I had my hopes up and was eagerly anticipating it. But when it finally came out, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. It felt like all those years of waiting were for nothing. Even she said in later interviews that the record wasn't good.

She is awesomely talented awesome writer awesome performer awesome singer in put favors fortune in drugs and sex before respect in love is somebody else's feelings and could have catastrophically damaged for other people in their families incompletely tortured Lindsey Buckingham which mentally screwed him up but he is strong-willed to overlook it and she helped him do it by performing on the garage door 1982 all drugged up Katie received her old songs and I love how people say all it was a technical glitch no wasn't it was too much cocaine too much weed mushrooms and whatever the hell else he was on probably definitely loaded up with a lot of man protein three of her most famous songs that put her in the spotlight I had a hell of a respect for her and watched her entire life on all these videos which is worth doing much as her life but the life of Fleetwood Mac a lot of videos are deceiving because they make hurl to be like if it wasn't for her Fleetwood Mac wouldn't exist they definitely marketed marketed her so much it actually in my opinion head Fleetwood Mac covered by a big cloud of cocaine dust Fleetwood Mac did not get the recognition they deserve because of old smokey her the rail queen of the 1980s judging by the size of that left nostril looks like she was so good at it she could not only snort a line of coke off of somebody's man Parts but probably got the whole main part stuck in your nostril but I still love her songs when she put the effort in from 2012 to current you can definitely tell that her voice is changed because she's getting older I understand but if she would just tone down her powerful part of her voice and not just yell the song out with a straight tone it is like as if she's just purposely just yelling it out changes the lyrics the parts of the song that she's supposed to up her voice she Downs her voice I get it I know why but if you can't do the song then don't do the song even though any band out there it doesn't matter who it is if you are a reputable historical excellence band in first problem you don't have all the original band members and I need the critical ones for instance Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham they can't make the songs sound authentic even though there's only one person missing I'm glad they don't tour anymore because it sounds terrible Lindsay's voice and Lindsay's guitar abilities are one-of-a-kind cannot be replicated therefore no touring you could tarnish your name and nobody will remember you is a awesome rock and roll band Ocala it's terrible music the new generation of children and adults will destroy the name because they'll only hear the current group lineup which doesn't include the original people and they will say Fleetwood Mac sucks as far as REO Speedwagon goes without the lead guitar riff raff REO Speedwagon sucks he can still sing the notes even though it's not very loud he said the dog was pretty damn good without that guitar that's in the background working hand-in-hand and in the solo part the song sucks I don't know why these rock and roll bands try to relight the flame if they don't have all the band members and it's going to change the sound or the vocals you're done you did it you're famous leave it go do not try and replicate what you can't do because now REO Speedwagon sounds like a karaoke band REO Speedwagon was awesome but unfortunately things happen but that's it you leave it alone Fleetwood Mac what are the best rock and roll bands of History sold more tickets at one venue historically than any other rock and roll band in the world has done in two million tickets if people at one venue nobody has top that unbelievable without Lindsey Buckingham the fellas like your typical neighborhood tribute band at a bar or karaoke nights sorry to say it it sounds harsh if you don't believe me go ahead and give it a shot I'm a die-hard fan for both of those Bales and I can't bear to stand watching and listening and trying to remember how it used to be what it's not the guitar is important in REO and Fleetwood Mac half the songs are written by Lindsey Buckingham and his voice the other half are Stevie Nicks it slipper is Christine McVie you take away more than a third of the voice and have to hire two people to do one person's guitar portion of the song and they still can't get it right it's time to throw in the f****** tall and be done before you destroy your name or stop being a baby's little Stevie Nicks she has wings like an eagle I mean legs like an eagle and a big enough nostril just still probably to this day to do a two rail holeshot

I'm glad she made it. I've always loved her music and lyrics. She is completely awesome and more beautiful today in 2016, than she was then.

Drugs were probably in the way, but Stevie hates interviews, videos, and talking about herself. She wants to be on a stage and singing. It's where she feels she belongs.
