@Joe Don’t be too harsh on today’s generation. They do not know that we older folks aka Baby Boomers and the politicians we voted for squandered the best grades of resources leaving table scraps for future generations. The result is sky high housing costs, record homelessness, hunger and gas prices even before Pandemic. Only way for corporations to make a profit is reduce manufacturing costs by outsourcing tens of millions of blue collar jobs.

Many became millionaires and well off middle class driving Packards in the 1940s and 1950s when gasoline was 29 cents for Ethyl. My dad had a 4th grade education but had a blue collar job for over 20 years making today’s equivalent of $200k in salary and benefits.
