Yes Trina, a great track. I would recommend Living in the City, also Yesterme, Yesteryou, Yesterday, but there are so many great songs of his to choose from. Perhaps he should just start by listening to the entire double album "Songs in the Key of Life! I find it astounding that young black people do not know about him! Do they never play good tunes on the radio in America?

Jayvee, just a little heads up. Stevie Wonder is pretty much the whole "band". He plays like every instrument ever invented, going back to ancient Egypt or something. ( I read that on the internet, so.... I know it's true 😆)

He really just plays keyboards and drums, but the different sounds he makes with the keys really sound like a whole band, plus his amazing voice! However, any song with a prominent guitar part (Contusion, for example) is played by a session musician.

50 years later and I’m still in there; no regret! Stevie’s music stands the test of time, and the lyrics remain relevant. At least one tune from Songs In The Key Of Life fits in any playlist. 🖤🖤🖤

I remember when Stevie did this one on old school Sesame Street. He and Grover were at his keyboard and taught us about opposites. Grover can really sing loudly.

So blessed to have grown up with this stuff - back then on the radio (pre huge-corporation radio ownership), you'd hear this, then the Beatles, then more Motown, then Joni Mitchell, then Led Zeppelin, then James Taylor...a shame that people literally don't know what they're missing now...

Stevie was a mowtown legend since he was 12 years old. You must check out one of his first tracks, “Fingertips”. I also suggest something from the 70s, “I Believe “. There’s really not a best place to start with Stevie Wonder. He is just that, a wonder! 🤩

If you haven't heard Stevie, you haven't heard music. This guy is THE guy for everyone. 1st time I heard Stevie is in 1963, "Fingertips", when he was 12 years old (yeah, I'm even older than him). The guy oozes rhythm. You might enjoy some collaboration between him and the Beatles (We Can Work It Out). He crossed all social stratas. One of the great men of our time.

Stevie is so awesome! Stevie played the clavinet (main keyboard you hear, there's no guitar), synthesizer bass, and drums on this. Just two guys playing horns and Stevie. Keep going! You MUST listen to Stevie's "Livin' For The City", "Sir Duke", "I Was Made To Love Her", "Ribbon In The Sky" and "My Cherie Amour" - and, by the way, that was Stevie on the drums, as he plays it all, and on "Music of My Mind" (which he recorded it for but didn't release it until his next album), he played ALL the instruments! And, for the record, the man is BLIND and had his first hit at 12 years old!

It would be interesting for you to react to Little Stevie Wonder “Fingertips” when he was a kid. You need to see and hear him as a small kid to truly appreciate how his musical genius is part of his DNA. Stevie is a Beethoven or Mozart of the 20th century.

Finally, I've been waiting for someone to react to SW. So many fantastic songs in his catalog. Sir Duke, My Cherie Amour, Living In The City, That Girl, As (Always), Higher Ground, I Wish, many many more.

i am amazed you knew the song but didn't know stevie wrote it. he was a major musical force from the mid 60's through the 80's with numerous top hits and albums. there is nobody like him. still got his 1980 release on vinyl 'hotter than july' and is one of my favorites.
