I was at this show. It had rained all day long and I didn't feel like going anywhere but I got up took a shower, put my jeans and sneakers on with my hoodie and umbrella and went down to Wells Fargo Center. Up until that day, Sade had been the BEST show I had ever seen in my whole life but waited all my life to see Stevie. He knocked Sade out her spot. He was ALL THAT. Folk was telling me for years, don't waste your money, the tickets were too high and he don't sound the same....Bullls@#t, the BEST $80 I ever spent and I went by my self. I choked up a lot during this show, I knew my Mom and Dad Aunt and Uncle who were big fans since the early 60's when he was a young boy, were there with me in spirit. I'd see him again if he comes back here.
I was there too, with my brother, and it was a spectacular show! His voice no longer has the same range as it did in his prime, but it is still a marvelous instrument from God!
The world is soo very blessed to have been given this amazing man. GOD sent Steve Wonder to the world to tell storys of what living is all about. Thank you GOD and Thank you Steve Wonder. We anticipate hearing his music for many years yet to come. The World needs him perhaps now more than ever,, his work isn't done yet.
What an incredibly gifted singer, song writer and musician. The stars certainly came together in just the right configuration to form this worlds greatest musical genius.
It is really amazing Mr. Stevie Wonder. I am in Brasil. I heard the song when for writter and record . I were fifteen Yeats age, tchan now I am 65. But I can't imagine who inspired the song and she is here.
This gentleman was made from a special mold and can't be copied,Yahweh has given him us for a unique purpose and has helped us to maintain our sanity in a very very very insane world.May Yahweh continue to bless him.Peace
I am very thankful & grateful to say I caught the goat or ( Stevie Wonder to those who have yet to accept the fact that he is the greatest of all times, ) about 2 weeks after this concert in St. Louis, Mo. It was definitely a must see. If you missed him when he came to or near your city on this tour……shame on you. 😆 One last thing, whoever disagrees with me that he is the goat, name another artist who can do a country wide or even worldwide tour if he had decided to do such, off of one album? Songs in the key of life. I’ll wait. Don’t waste your time trying to figure it out, you’ll put your mind in a pretzel. 😆😆
Stevie Wonder is an Angel of Music sent by God Almighty and can we acknowledge that India Arie looks absolutely stunning!! She has always been a head of her time. Oh and I believe the background singer with the light hair is his beautiful daughter. All of them are beautiful and held their own.
I had the privilege of spending time with Stevie Wonder's brother on his birthday at the Syracuse war memorial for in square circle What a blessing that was. He dropped. His sunglasses under the bleachers. I found them and sat with him when Stevie wished him a happy birthday. What a great experience.
saw the atlanta show and the new orleans show by far the best concerts i've ever seen in tears the whole time thank you stevie thanks to the uploader for allowing me to reminisce
Yeaaaaa I was chokin up my dayummmmmm self. I was at this very show by myself up in the nose bleed section witnessing something I've dreamed of all my life. Sade's (Love Deluxe Tour) held the #1 spot for THE BEST SHOW I EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE until I saw Stevie Wonder singing my favorite album by him. The best $80 I ever spent 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I was there and he sounded terrific, especially for 64 years old. He wasn’t able to sing in the upper registers like he could 20 years earlier, but he’s still the greatest live performer that I’ve ever seen
I think your video is slightly mislabeled. In watching the songs at the end leading into Superstition, I believe this concert is from Philadelphia on November 16, 2014 (almost a year earlier) because I attended that show and remember some specifics. While he did return to Philadelphia on October 7, 2015 for a Songs In The Key Of Life concert, Greg Phillinganes was no longer directing the band and India.Arie was no longer guest performing during that leg of the tour.
@@ohioplayer After the show in Columbus, the next show was on 4/3/15 in Nashville and I was at that show. They announced that evening that it was Greg's last show on the tour; he was leaving the tour because his wife was about to deliver. After that show in Nashville, the next was in Baltimore on 4/5/15 and I also attended that show. Oddly, when I boarded the flight from Nashville to DC, India Arie was on the plane and I got to meet her. Greg was not at the show in Baltimore. When the tour was extended and they did another show in DC in October, 2015, I attended and Greg was there that evening as a guest. I got to meet Greg after that show. And by the way, in this video when Stevie sings Village Ghetto Land, he references the year 2014. That also tells me that this is the show from 11/16/14. I actually got to see the Songs In The Key Of Life performance 7 times including dates in LA and NYC! And every performance was just awesome!
@carltonrice6090 i went to the meet and greet in columbus and shook stevies hand and got a photo..saw nate and greg and the sax player there too but i was still in shock from shaking Stevie's hand to say anything..
@@carltonrice6090 oh my I can only dream of seeing him once let alone multiple times Lol. I remember or think he was performing in Vegas but the tickets were so outrages that I couldn't afford it. Oh well.... I'm happy I can at least see him here which is better than nothing :)
@@Iszkiewicz Keith John starts singing a snippet of Fever (a great song from his father Little Willie John) with which Mr Wonder is much in love. Then I think there's kinda interlude. PMTWGR has been performed in previous tour and sounded totally different, but i might be wrong.
Wait! Who let Stevie go on stage with his hair looking like that! This is no shade but I think Stevie would look great with a bald head. His hair have thinned out and receded badly but he is still one of the best musicians out there. I love his big outdoor concerts.
@@kymlmohorn Hear, hear!! He's still among the very finest musical genius's this World has ever been given. We don't care if he's singing in rags or the finest threads, if he's bald or a full head of hair,, none of that distracts from his magnificent music.
