Hi, I'm Dan and I'm trying to cycle from Alaska to Argentina! This is my 5th episode where I cycle down Northern British Columbia's stunning Stewart-Cassiar Highway, eventually arriving at the world's largest glacier that's accessible by road. Along the scenic highway, I deal with unexpected delays, bear encounters and brutal climbs to finally find myself looking out over the most beautiful sight I've ever seen.

I started from the first video of your trip and now that I've finished this episode I have to say I'm really enjoying your videos. I have been watching Martijn Doolard's channel for a few years and I rarely enjoy any other as much - but I think yours just may have hit that mark. An amazing adventure so far and such beautiful photography.

Coming from England to Canada and the US and then going southward all the way to Argentina a journey of a lifetime. Great scnery and what a beautiful place to be and enjoy it all, an occasional wildilife seems to be a bonus. Cheers from Oregon.

I just noticed. What happened to your panniers? Great video by the way, especially love the drone footage of the Glacier. The drone must have been a good distance away. Lots of Cycling Vloggers keep their Drones very close to them. Guess they're scared of losing them.

Nice series. I would love a bit more info on the logistics of your trip. For example how are you charging your gps, is there a cycling guide website with places to camp and get supplies? Have you considered a belt drive internally geared hub? (Not sure I called that the right name)

Yeah I really want a belt drive/rohloff internally geared hub but they're very expenisve and hard to get done while travelling

The lakes there really are beautiful! I am thinking of doing some version of this next year and was wondering if the camping areas you are staying at are wild camping and what you are using to find them, if anything. I am enjoying following along on your adventure!

A lot of these were free or provincial campgrounds but out there you wanna use an app called iOverlander it has loads of amazing wild camping spots as well as actual campgrounds
